This string of amazing Steve tech I’d never have thought of is amazing. I’d also like to note that the flint and steel d-tilt can clink with (most likely) a lot of small projectiles, tested with Mario fireball. You’re the best Steve scientist around, WhyDo.
Honestly this could be a cool doubles strat which can help you maintain a lead, or keep the opponent's slightly at bay so then Steve can set-up for his resources for a powerful burst. This is a really nice concept that can be utilized for various scenarios I feel, but I do agree that in an actual fight, it might be a bit tricky to set up.

It really is tragic what Nexon did to MapleStory. They really turned a fantastic social game into a cutthroat p2w about getting bigger numbers. Still, it has my favorite soundtrack of all time, & NECORD continues to push out amazing music to this very day, so I'm glad it's still around... even if you couldn't pay me to play it 😅 If you haven't heard of them BTW, people have set up private servers like MapleRoyals that are about having a chill community with no P2W. If you're looking for a quick blast of nostalgia, I can't recommend it enough... I had a lot of fun there a couple years back & even made a friend I still talk to!
@@WhyDo I actually have NOT heard of these private servers, and from what I've googled they do look pretty neat, and are doing a good job of keeping the nostalgia. Although rather tempting, personally Maple has served it's purpose after I've gotten my Phantom to 5th job (fancy skills, but not something I would like to grind with until 275). I'll still continue to enjoy the old music, especially the Temple of Time bgm, but for me, it's time to move on. So it's goodbye Maple, hello funny block man.

As Steve was my number 1 pick for Smash I promised to main him once he dropped but I'm having issues learning how to do block placement right or even think to place block in a match does anyone have suggestions?
Honestly, a lot of it just didn't click for me until I actually got out there and played a bunch of games, telling myself specifically to place blocks in X situation. So I went into an online match thinking, "My #1 priority this game is to think to place blocks when I am above my opponent." Or, "My #1 priority this game is to remember to build walls when my opponents are trying to approach." It's OK if you let yourself "autopilot" a little bit otherwise, as long as you focus on remembering to perform that one specific tech or strategy. Then after a little bit it starts becoming natural, & occurs to you automatically! This is how I get myself to learn other good habits, not just Steve ones, but it's served me well for Steve!

I was actually thinking about it! But if I did something like that, I'd want to make sure that people would get their money's worth. I have a lot of experience doing VOD review & "coaching" with friends, but of course accepting payment for something means I need to meet a certain standard of professionalism. I was thinking of starting a few trial sessions for $15/hr soon, with the idea that if someone isn't happy with their session, they don't have to pay. They would involve me watching footage of someone's play beforehand, then, let's say, an hour of VOD review/wifi games in VC where we could talk about improvement routes, technical hurdles, habits to work on, etc. If you're serious about wanting to do a coaching session for Brawler, shoot me a DM on Twitter @WDBTHtGP ! I might have to figure out some logistics as we go, but I can promise I'd put in my best effort to make it as productive & valuable as possible.
