Funny enough, the telephone numbers listed on their site are no longer in service

The cost of that truck with all solar power has to be so astronomical I'm sure they charge ridiculous amounts on the food just to recoup some of the cost of solar panels, inverters, batteries, etc.

It's an investment, powering a generator is quite expensive as well.

I have some serious doubts that the stove is solar. It looked to me like it was propane. Still greener than Fossil Fuels, but I can't imagine a solar system that's able to run high output appliances like a stove or deep fryer.

A solar system could do that easily. I have a stove in my camper van. A 4000 watt inverter could power a stove and a 100 amp fuse box would power the lights/fridges.

@@Milo19970cooking yourself a meal on a residential stove and powering an industrial flat top are two different things. It's gas which is why there's an extraction hood

Where’s is the top extractor for the hood?

no way you getting 12KW from those 6 panels on the roof...even if you got 20 watts/sf, that 200sf roof would only give about 4KW peak.

Solar system are overpriced , for instance a good 1000 watts lithium fosfato battery can cost you over $1000 bucks , a good solar 1000 watts generator can cost you about the same , if you have $300000 dollars to spend on solar powered food truck more power to you , the most I could afford on a food truck will be $15 k .

Very expensive system, not worth it.
