This is the return journey, sped up to 150mph, travelling from Gunnislake to Plymouth Station. Originally shot in 2001 on a Wales and West DMU.

To the stations? That was on the main journey out. This was just a quick trip back.

It was dad who was did the research on this, but looking at some older OS maps, it was the line that ran out to Tavistock, which is now sadly closed.
I think when this line was being built it should have been called gunnisnake railway with all those bends, it seems the beer must have been good for the navvies very little strait line anywhere,
Trains do not run up steep hills.
