Absolutely! I looked at the cost replacing just a fuel accumulator and one of the existing fuel pumps and it quickly added up to a large portion of what the carb swap would have cost. The swap made sense to me and I hope this helps someone.
It's been a few months since I did swap, but if I remember correctly I just let it go free. The second line was for a vacuum return which I was told or read somewhere wasn't completely necessary. Additionally, I had read about some guys not even running the vacuum advance. I hope this helps.

Hello BarnOne, awesome! Where did you put the second vacuum advanced on the rear? I’m doing the same montage on my USA 924, thank you from France!
