To all the engis going against a sapper spy, just please use the shotgun, its faster and less clunky. The amount of engis that got stabbed because they tried to melee the spy is honestly painful.
Unless you’re using anything that isn’t the jag, or playing battle mech (which all mech players are) there is no reason for them to get stabbed unless they got outsmarted by the better agent using a trickstab.
@@jaidynodom707 why would you go for a melee and take the risk in the first place if you have a more reliable close-quarters hitscan weapon that deals more damage?
Ive been playing engi more and more and i ADORE playing him on attaxk way more than defense because of the sheer amount you can help your team litteraly just with one single good tele

I feel like the engi/mech class suffers from the spy syndrome of using the melee EVERY GOD DAMN TIME and getting punnished for it.
The melee is a good finisher ONCE you’ve got them below 65 hp
