- This is an unboxing and review of the X9-S Handheld Retro Console with a look at performance in each of its emulators. [ NES / SNES / Gameboy / GBC / GBA / PS1 / CPS1 ] If you're a true gamer and not a collector... this might be worth checking out! It's a great way to condense you're library and have it on the go. Every console mention runs perfectly except PS1. This specific console is a bit too demanding in most cases, however there may be less demanding titles like the Yu-Gi-Oh! game shown in this video. Build quality is great, it's solid but light, the buttons are clicky and responsive, and the screen is pretty nice from a straight on or side view. The view angles from above and below are pretty awful thanks to the TFT display. Speakers are loud and for the most part clear. Each console emulator has its own resolution setting to choose from fill/stretch, scale, or original to keep that classic look. Overall I think this is a great little device. Right?! Wouldve liked stronger PS1 compatibility, but I can't really complain at this price point.

@@rstampf nice! My ultimate goal would be to have joy cons connect to my iPhone case but the only jailbreak tweak for iPhone controller support doesn’t support both joycons at once :(

You have a good recording camera and this thing looks good! I use to have a psp and lost it and thinking about ordering used one from eBay but nah just need something to play for now and this is gonna be it! 😂👍🏻😎is there a option to turn down volume don’t want to be playing hecka loud at quiet places😂

I got this for my son and he's managed to get on to settings and format the SD card and now none of the games all the settings are working do you have any idea how to fix it
I have one night shift left this week. Once I'm done I can look into creating a zipped file of my SD card for you.
