Dan Nainan is endlessly fascinating, totally forgot about him and the NLO clips, gonna have to go back and rewatch. He always struck me as someone with some type of severe trauma.
@@mulleygravesI think that was the joke. Like when a dude has long hair and his friends are mocking him so you say “quit mocking this beautiful woman” sorta thing. It’s ironic defending
I remember Dan Nainan telling this terribly depressing story. On 9/11 he had to "ride his rollerblades, miles home, through the abandoned streets of New York City."
Abandoned streets? Is there a different NYC? It was swarming with first responders from everywhere. Trucks driving in & out. People running for their lives. Others running for home.
On "corporate comedians", I'm reminded of some article I read years ago, about the sort of comedians who make big money performing at these corporate gigs, the bit that stuck out to me was one comic's act consisting of bits like doing an impression of a confused Homer Simpson puzzling over a list of new rules for employees or something. Just, the way it was described in this brief paragraph made me cringe.
Russell Peter's first special was one of the earliest comedy specials ever uploaded to UA-cam in 2004, that's how i first heard of him, someone told me to check it out there
What is the point of this podcast, it's a rehash of 2 other rehashes, a reaction to a reaction to a reaction. You are showing clips from other podcasts.
Dannnnn! I saw Patrick Meltons interview-fascinated me.who knew years later I’d be in the Onion or Davble world. Took me a bit to realize Patrick was Patrick
I had no idea who this bloke was prior to hearing Maron speak about him and I'd frequent clubs in Los Angeles. What a slimy and insecure capitalist he is. Money is everything to the untalented folks desperate to get respect yet unable to earn it.
Indian parents say weird stuff like that. That's why he's willing to die on that hill. I remember a family car ride where my dad went "Balti...more what a weird word" I's like one of those things Indian dads do, they think saying words is humor. Indian dad have a particularly remedial mutant of dad jokes.
Why are people mad at this guy because he told people that we're rude to him that hes doing better i don't think that is that messed up rappers do that all the time the email chain is a bit much i would send one email and be done with it
Dan buys his sushi at 9/11
That’s a word that has many meanings.
9/11 … reminds me of that tragedy
This fool gave up a career and retirement at Intel. Best life decision ever
Best joke he’s ever told

Why you picking on this young comedian?
Once you understand the history of this "comedian", it will make sense.
He’s not young. He must be at least 38 or so by now
@@mulleygraves Actually... believe it or not, he's in his 60s.
That's not a joke.

Can we get a bongtransplant in the intro? I think hes earned it.

He lied to me?! What the hell!@@Cherokee51774
Him and Opie used to blade together
This is very literally the funniest story of all time.
I'm glad you mentioned Oki's video. Fascinating story how someone so terrible at comic could do so well.
I think the first time i heard of Dan Nainan was actually on NLO before Cumtown existed, so props to P-Melt for putting him on my radar back then
Used a few of those clips. He did a good job with Dan
NLO did a great job interviewing him.

I hosted a company event with a "corporate comic"
My eyeroll reactions to his jokes probably were funnier
I’m just going to stand over here while being half-Indian and half-Japanese.
This is the one I'm so curious about, thank you lads!
He's a tough one to crack
I’ve been looking forward to this episode. This man is a gem
*germ
Good shoutout to Oki.

Now heres a podcast that could have alot of meaning! 😎
Boss thumbnail.
Only Dan would “Ranazizi” Ranazizi
He is likable enough, talented enough, or respected enough to carry an aura of mystery successfully. It’s charming in others. Not him.
Seeing all those people die made him want to do comedy?

So Dan did the Dubai porta potty run?
Oki just stole his story from Patrick Melton and his podcast Nobody Likes Onions.
I mean, this guy is a real jerk! Am I right, gang?
I heard he likes steak.
Only when highly priced
What did he have, a galaxy S8 transplant?
Dan Nainan was never gay with his dad
9! 11!
This is just okis video but longer and worse
Thanks for giving it a try
