Persevering is tough right now. But in the greatest strife, we guardians find strength. Outside of the fluff, I think things will be alright as long as we keep moving forward. And if not, you have other games, and other options.
We've hit rock bottom, and though Bungie may have a disappointing way of somehow getting lower, eventually we'll start going up.

osmiomancy glove and conditional finality, wanna play like a shotgun rushing monster and kill entire enemy teams with one grenade and your shotgun? This build has you covered. Wanna play defensive and wait for people to rush you then punish them by dropping your rift or throwing a grenade at your feet? You can do that too! Also conditional finality lets you shut down any super in the game with just two shots! Max out discipline, recovery, and any third stat for free. Fragments: whisper of bonds (if you're cooking the enemy team hard enough I've gotten my super faster than a tier 10 intellect bubble and I only have 40 intellect), whisper of refractions (your rift freezes and you want that back as soon as possible), whisper of chains (saves your ass when rushing groups cuz it's a 10% damage resist), and whisper of fissures for shutting down supers with ease. Aspects are frost pulse and ice flare bolts. Have fun. This build has gotten me more hate mail than I have ever seen in my life and I play call of duty.

Skyburners oath Gunslinger, super of choice,
Weighted Throwing Knife, Incindeary Grenade
Fragments: Knock 'em down, On your mark
Aspects: Ember of Torches, Ember of Ashes, Ember of Char, Ember of Eruption, Ember of Benevolence
If you want to get hatemail throw on Athrys's Embrace for aimbot knifes
How to play (you may have guessed it) So this build thrives particularly well on enclosed maps, where enemies can bunch up, as you may have seen in similar builds in spicy clips. You can either shoot one hip-fire shot and follow up with a knife to kill the scorched targets, which whether you kill them or not makes them ignite, so even if you didn't get the one-shot you'll likely get your knife back. Thanks to our aspects, that ignition spreads scorch to nearby targets, which lines them up for either another knife kill or an incendiary grenade. You can add on grenade kickstart and Impact Induction for mods to add a little more grenade generation Now, I don't particularly like this, but if so prefer you can swap out ember of benevolence for Ember of blistering for grenade energy of ignition kills

That there grape flavored build is one of my favorites to run. So satisfying to get a shield throw kill, I find it's more useful just running without procking my super.
My favourite build with monte is on solar titan. Peregrine greaves + hammer strike, then radiant on melee and finally heavy handed in gauntlets + 2 Kinetic weapon surge and Recuperation in legs.
You get a kill using peregrines with Monte equipped, ignite the guy you kneed in the face for aoe dmg, get healed to full hp and then have 600 auto with a 0.5 ttk for a couple seconds while also regenerating hp from the sunspot you created.
Super fun and can go on streaks if you land your shots.
Quite enjoyable to see second chance get some love outside of very much pve use cases, honestly one of my most enjoyable exotic combos

Solar Titan for healing and harmonics. Crest of Alpha Lupi for [team] healing and Kelgorath with Surrounded for some sweet sweet one-shots.
Or
Enigmatic Lupi where you use Sentinel with the Enigma to hear great effect.
Imo, Glaives are skilled thumbs away from OP. Always aim your glaive and tackle 2v1s with confidence.
Both builds bounce between kinetics, but generally lean on Lodbrok. Worldline Zero is a thing, but Throne Cleaver is Solar and has *Valiant Charge* so…

For trials I used the titan gloves that grant a second shield toss for the first and considering the map last week I was pleasantly surprised how effective is was. But it would be nice if titan supers weren't just infinite melee ability for a couple seconds.
I feel like verity’s brow could be better for the warlock build, making threadlings do way more damage

tyranny of heaven is a solar bow that can roll with swashbuckler
hunters can proc radiant with a throwing knife
cryosthesia can freeze targets which and be one shot by lightweight throwing knife (or just a regular weighted throwing knife)
ember of empyrean extends the duration of radiant with solar weapon final blows
radiant and swashbuckler does 201 to the head and the duration of both buffs can be extended with kills
this can be paired with any hunter exotic of your choosing but it's not really needed
ever had that moment of waking hopping on to D2 and seeing one of your favorite weapons in the most used list? I feel like I've jumped timelines with where gravaton was and where it is now.

Frieza: hoho I think this build is for me
While I love the bow swap combo and additional invis provided by asassin's cowl, I can't help but feel more at hobe combining it with mechaneers on void hunter. It just feels right a this point, like a white-chocolate chunk macadamia nut cookie, it's different enough to still feel fun to play, and all the different parts of the build just feel good to work with. I tend to use point of the stag with a targeting mod but am open to other bow suggestions. Side note: I too felt sick when reginald defended lorentz, but now that that's off of the list how about LoW next?

I will say, I'm glad to see second chance pop up here. I been using it in PvE quite effectively and I've been enjoying it a lot, and using it in pvp with monte seems incredibly entertaining.
I will say though, if you want this build to function outside of this season, use Harvest/Cessation. Void breach on volatile kill or weaken kill, and with the weaken kill you get an orb along with it. It's VERY effective and is why I adore it in pve right now, but it would work just as well in pvp too if you're consistent with kill a target hit by the bouncing shields!

The stupid build I've been using to GREAT effect uses the Sweet Business and Actium War Rig on Sentinel Titan. Run your bubble and a rally barricade and you feel like the damn Terminator. Strafing around corners with a fully spun-up minigun, perforating groups of Guardians. Dropping a rally barricade to shut down lanes and send a wall of lead based communication to anyone foolish enough to poke their heads out, with an overshield to give that extra bit of stability.
“While staring down our sights like a mannequin at a gun store” that was glorious. Pure poetry. I love it!

That first build is pretty much what i run minus the weapons, loving the new strand pulse i crafted with RoN shotty and Heir, tho i do mostly PvE that pulse did me good in some PvP comp, been tempted to do some more
Thorn burn damage procs two perched threadlings instead of one. Make threadlings feel much more viable.

Alright, here’s a dumb gambit build idea, I call it “Scare tactics”
It’s a stasis hunter build, using Shatterdive, the other one is up to personal preference
Bring a eager edge sword
Yotunn or Telesto
And a sniper rifle
This is an invasion build, so as soon as you invade, and spot the enemy, shatter skate across the arena, then fire your Telesto or Yotunn, and then pull out your sniper and take some pot shots, if you have your super, throw it, it doesn’t matter if you get kills or not, this is to cause confusion and fear
i’ve been using nothing but actium war rig sweet business striker in pvp for the past 2 weeks and i’ve never felt more alive
honest to god the no distraction box breathing glisando has been my go to for grav lance users, it just loses to it if u hit the first headshot and its so funny to me
cerberus +1, woven mail helmet, widows silk, grenade mods.
hyper agression, not viable at all but fun as shit, and cerberus makes it so you dont have to deal with such lowly duties like "aiming" when you dive bomb your next victim
The strand scout build works with solar hunter with healing dodge and sixth coyote

I've been using Graviton with Astrocyte blinking to get absolutely more kills than i should EVER be getting in PvP. But Mantle of Battle Harmony? That is truly disgusting, love it.
The lobbies I’ve been getting are just wild , everyone’s using some type of meta weapons ( really just dmt and no time for some reason) so I just put the respective exotic on in return, I basically play g jakes copy cat card but in control

I would use the first build, but its really annoying to get a bunch of strand meditations for the aspects and fragments
Bungie should add a new update on the telesto catalyst, making the next burst of rounds volatile whenever the bolts are left on the ground instead of on the target. Niche but I just want something fun again

I realize that no one probably cares, but I've been having a lot of fun with severance enclosure on strand with flechette storm. While the severance explosion wont do enough damage to kill, the tangle explosion afterwards most certainly will, making it a lovely aoe one tap at the cost of just getting one kill with flechette storm... a homing long ranged melee. Hopefully more people use this... or don't... cause its fun as hell.

The setup i use for trials is:
Void titan
Monte carlo
Magnetic grenade
Armament chest piece
Hot to use it is throwing the shield then throwing the magnetic grenade immediately after kinda like the smoke bomb void wall combo but for the Titan

I’ve recently been using Cadmus ridge lance cap, fighting lion, disparity, and the fragments Fissures, Rending, and Refraction for a one shot combo in pvp that’s really fun. For aspects I use Tetonic harvest and howl of the storm but technically all the aspects could work for this. It’s also a great anti bunch up combo.
