Diabetes at BC Children's Hospital

Hennessy is an active, outgoing fifteen-year-old girl who loves dancing and horseback riding. However, when she was in her second grade of elementary school, life unfolded in a way that no one could have imagined.
Her mother, Jordan, will never forget the day that the doctor called, instructing her to take her daughter to the emergency room at BC Children’s Hospital right away. “This is my little girl, who now has a lifelong disease and has to be managing this. Nobody wants that for their child.”
