If you're one of the looters, stay away from my Sister's street. She's had some training, and won't be afraid to end your miserable existence.
Thoughs and prayers to all of those affected with this disaster...
Locations and neighborhoods I'm pretty sure I was able to identify in this video are.. Pilgrim United Church of Christ, Speedway at kings hwy and village drive, Neighborhood is Port Charlotte Village (flooded). I couldn't tell the others but I'm guessing Kings Gate and Maple Leaf Community.
Lived in port Charlotte and Punta gorda for many years, have lots of friends there. My heart is broken,
Have been texting for a couple of days. God help them. 🙏
Did you see the causeway to Sanibel Island? Crazy! My people used to have a home there. They sold it.
Reminds me of Katrina. My prayers are with you.
I know people in this area. I pray people are safe
It always amazes me why people who live in a hurricane Zone don't live in concrete domes.
You clearly aren't an engineer or an economics major.
@@jamesarmstrong857 LOL.. licensed professional engineer, retired here.
Ian is blowing outside as I write. Much of central Florida is flooded. This storm's signature is copious amounts of rain; water.
This storm us but 1 of many taking place globally. All over the world cities are being hit with catastrophic natural disasters.
Here in Orlando, flood levels hitting historic levels surrounding counties likewise.
This is only the beginning, prepare !
The economy is bad enough... but my heart is so troubled by the thought of how are so many going to recover from all this destruction, monetarily ... God have mercy
I so feel for these people..the destruction and lost of their homes is devastating plus lost of life! Sending strength/love/healing! We are One and stand with you and feel your pain. May the Creator heal and give you strength in the days ahead 💜💜💜💜😊💯💜💜💜💫✨🌟💯🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Anyone know anything about Midway and Abalom (near Kings
Highway?
Not surprised at all.. Construction in the US is not made in a way that protects the homeowners, it is made in a way that protects the lumber and hardware store companies.
Living in Michigan, it’s hard to take in the damage and the ❤️🩹 heartbreak! My heart breaks for all!😢
How dangerous hurricanes are is well illustrated by how much material was moved, isn’t it?
All in all very lucky in this area. Glad the storm surge did not reach Port Charlotte.
Port Charlotte looks like crap anyway. Wish it all gets washed away.
Anyone know how far this neighborhood is from Peterborough Road? Haven’t heard from my Aunt in 13 hours.
I live in Charlotte County too. Charlie was bad. Ian was bad although not as bad sadly south of us sadly, or North Port flooding after.
We had major damages to our home, yet will repair it all, lives forever changed...my positive thoughts are for everyone else enduring in Orlando, S.C. and NJ/NY impacted by Ian.
Quite sad🥺. Praying for everyone
You have to have some whole other level of fortitude in your soul to deal with this continuous destruction and stay and re-build time after time. I couldn’t do it. After the second one I’d be like “I’m outta here”. Prayers to those who have suffered loss of any kind. May God give you the strength now and in the days ahead.
No lies detected here... 💯💯
IF ANYBODY KNOWS DOUG WRIGHT IN PORT CHARLOTTE HAVE HIM CALL RELATIVE/S TO SAY HE"S SAFE
Horrifying. How does anyone clean up and start over after so much destruction? So sorry for the folks losing so much.
Thankfully there isn't much structural damage. Its mostly superficial. Shingles, siding, glass etc. The water damage is going to be a real problem. These people are tough and God willing will come back even stronger.
You must not be watching your television. Charlotte county is flattened in many areas.
@@Tbone.357 I don't watch TV. I'm looking at as many sources as I can. I don't doubt that some neighborhoods are destroyed. The big matchstick effect hasn't happened from what I've seen. My biggest worry is Sanibel.
pray everyone is safe
Does anyone know if Lake Worth Blvd down toward the bay went underwater? 17316 Lake Worth Blvd?
I believe Scientists and Engineers should be working on ways to stop these in their track. I understand satellites can detect an eye forming when its about 1/4
of a mile across. Small enough to have one of the weaker walls blown apart with munitions or microwave technology. It's time we try to control this terrible life threatening hazard.
I don't know how you Floridians do it, year after year. God bless and Godspeed.
