"襄陽歌" was a march used by the Korean Empire Army, which was dissolved in 1907 as Japan encroached control over Korea. The tune and lyrics of the march were adapted by South Korea into a modern-day march, with the original still being preserved.
Special thanks to ‪@youtubecommenter8969‬ for helping with the lyrics!
I do not represent any of the ideologies, countries, or religions shown on this channel. The purpose of this channel and its content is to historically present the music at hand and does not show support for nor against the party on screen, rather a neutral preservation standpoint so that the music is not lost to time. Not all parties shown on Danjori are widely accepted, however, I merely upload their songs to record history, good or bad.

Yup! Loyalty uses the same tune, but of course doesn't use the hanja and changed some lines
I have that one coming in the near future 😉

Fact - Korea itself is already Japan. As the saying goes, once a marine is forever a marine, once Japan is forever Japanese.
In other words, there was a provisional government of the Republic of Korea during the Japanese colonial period, which means that there was a government of the country called the Republic of Korea during the Japanese colonial period.
There was Korea during the Japanese colonial period = Korea was Japanese land = Once it was Japan, it is established that Korea is still Japan.
Therefore, it is the correct expression to state that it is the Great Japanese Empire, not the Korean Empire.

Indeed, Korea still upholds a forced military conscription for all men to this day. Japan on the other hand does not, thus they are inferior. (Joke lol)
