I feel ya. It's a song that needs to be heard in our darkest time. Even listened to this when kobe, his kid, and others involved in that crash were being remembered by their family and friends
The song that sings meer is Quiet Night C.E.73 that is the same letter (change a little in the second chorus) but differente rythm, she also sings EMOTION, that's entire her
Djibril, while lacking Muruta’s charisma and political savvy, is just as monstrous as him. Djibril is a monster who is perfectly willing to declare a war for his pocket and bigotry. His death at the hands of Ray is 100% well deserved
I wish this was the voice that did the songs in Gundam Seed as well... Jillian's voice isn't so far off from Lacus's voice actor, so the transition is more natural seeming.
I think this was the best dub of a Japanese song I've ever heard. I didn't much like the harmonizing, but she is much more than decent in general. She sounds exactly what I thought she should in English.
Gundam taught me there are good and bad people on every side in war. The real lesson in that is support the side you think will win or don’t support a side at all.
Favourite version of Fields of Hope. She's got awesome emphasis on certain words that just make me want to listen to it over and over again. I wish I can find a version where there isn't someone talking in between her singing.
Just so people know: this is a different Jillian Michaels from the fitness trainer. She played Lloyd Garmadon in Ninjago (seasons 1-7), Shippo in the English dub of Innuyasha, and many others.
I loved gundam seed and destiny however, good god...the two problems i had were 1. the animations which were mostly a machine panning sideways usually or firing a weapon off, especially REUSED animations, 2. the characters themselves were emotional cardboard...the voice actors SERIOUSLY didnt know what they were doing when getting emotions across. The only two characters that you could really appreciate were Lacus and her songs...and Rau le Crueset...truly one of the most intense villians in gundam. On a sidenote...this video makes me sad...because their is a very likely possiblity humanity would do something this twisted one day in the far future..its sad because such a disaster is fully beleivable.
Everyday people pray for peace and war to end. But peace and war will never come to an end, because without them the balance will be out of place and this could happen, what you just saw could be the future of humanity. Some of us may survive but our memories will make us forget, we may keep our memories but they will later become a pain and hard to lose. For me I'll keep mine for if we don't remember then who will.Fields of hope will come one day and help us and this song is an example of hope.
for a guy who generally prefer the song's left undubbed in dubbed animes I thought it was pretty good, definitely on par with likes of Your Name's English versions of the songs and Gundam Unicorn's opening
i could not watch destiny. not because the story was not my favorite, i loved it just that it was cruel and sad. of all the gundam series this was the one i cannot watch again.
@@4realproductionsvideogamin283 Yeah it was so different I didn't even felt like I was watching a Gundam series one of the saddest one in Gundam franchise. :'3
I would freak out even more if I was one of those kids.. After Lacus finishes..there would be a silence.. And I would go,"......we're still going to die."
My first anime was seed (when I was 5 lol) and now I'm 18 and still this music hits different. Like seriously the JP and EG did such a good job signing.
I think this was a very moving scene. I hope, if the movie comes out to see Lacus, Kyra, Athrun and Cagalli again. So far I don't really like the new characters. But they might grow on me. I do like something about Stella, Though. I just started watching GSD-in English. Thank you for posting this vid-I was looking for this song by itself. It's a very moving scene, beautiful song and I love Lacus-I know that might bring me insults too. But I do.
It's been years since I saw this scene.... The English version of this song is still my preferred... But.. hearing it makes me cry so bad... Even now...
2:00 YES AERO FREAKIN DYNAMIC CONTROL! im sure they feel much better now! XD i like the way this is presented though. the sad moments of helpless people. there's plenty of people who've died helplessly.
junius-7 was the ZAFT space colony that blue cosmos (extreme faction of the earth forces) nuked on "bloody valentine". years later, a bitter faction of ZAFT soldiers decided to drop the "corpse" of junius-7 onto the earth. the less crazed ZAFT forces and others tried to break the colony up to lessen the damage to earth, in order to prevent a second full scale war and that brings us to this scene.
I'll have to say this.. it made me cry! :'( Awsome thanks for uploading this! =) But there's one thing what really shocked me... STELLARS VOICE wtf :D? It sounds kinda funny.
part 2 is A single prayers soft melody Has crossed the lonely silent fields A little light begins to shine, it shines on and on I watched you as you so peacefully dreamed You laughed like a child, happy and care free It's so familiar and yet so far, that the future is promised For you and me One day on a green and shining morn One day we will finally make through 'Cause in this sky, so dark with winter We still have to believe that it's true Fields of hope
Jillian Michaels is a great singer and i personally love this song though in order to get it on my MP3 i have 2 blast the music and voice record it since i cant find an english download anywhere!
The song is sung in Gundam Seed DESTINY during one of the worst tragedies to befall mankind. A terrorist group has just dropped a space colony on earth and the scenes you see are of the destruction caused. I can't say any more without spoiling the series. I would definitely suggest listening to Tanaka Rie's version of the song (which is the original).
I checked. She is 18 right now and going to be 19 on October. She's no newbie in the film industry but I found it interesting that she starred in several Barbie movies in non-Barbie roles.
I fear of the future for things such as COVID and human conflict show no end but also foolishness to think that an event such as this would never happen. Make no mistake that the only way to prevent a conflict that would be as catrostrophic as this is to truly make a difference in the world. Every bit counts and every opportunity is a chance to end human pettiness and pointless need to engage in behavior that cripples the environment that allows for life on earth and life in the universe to be free of our own inability to mature and be better than we were yesterday. Only time will tell if the Fields of Hope are a empty pipe dream or the wings of words for us to reach mutual understanding.
what you say may be true, even though we say we'll never forget what happened in a war we do.Gundam Seed is a great example of that. For instence world war 1 andthen a couple of years later world war 2.I'm just afraid that it may get worst as we go along. poeple these days seem to be too ignorent of the things that are going on around them and the wars that are happening.Maybe if we didn't have so many weapons things could be different but then agian humanity would just find another way to kill.
Allow me to settle the debate of the voices behind Lacus Clyne once and for all. Chantal Strand voiced Lacus in the dub of both series, while Jillian Michaels was Lacus' singing voice in the dub of both series. In the original Japanese version of both series, Rie Tanaka (not Nami Tanaka) was both the voice and the singing voice of Lacus. @dkittykat1: Episode 7, "Land of Confusion."
After all these years, still beings tears to my eyes.
me too❤❤❤
FINALLY someone posts the actual scene and not another freaking cover or AMV. Thank you!
Now if they would just post the Stardust version of this event...

The amount of emotion in this scene is why I love SEED. I rewatch both seasons so often because of the feelings I get.

2021 still good

damn stella's line "will they die?are they all going to die" really hits me, her concern just saves her character for me...
Ritz Roldenn Alpajora same it's scary..being in war kills and effects everyone
Stella is fascinating to me. She's traumatized, emotionally stunted, and brainwashed, but she's still human. I find her incredibly tragic.

I feel ya. It's a song that needs to be heard in our darkest time. Even listened to this when kobe, his kid, and others involved in that crash were being remembered by their family and friends
Both Japanese and English versions of this is great. It's too bad there is no full version by Jillian by herself and not some duet...
Right!
The song that sings meer is Quiet Night C.E.73 that is the same letter (change a little in the second chorus) but differente rythm, she also sings EMOTION, that's entire her
Many years later this song sends a shiver down my spine...beautiful lyrics! 🎶
It’s really sickening how Djibril looks so calm and pleased. Practically salivating at having his excuse to declare war.
Djibril, while lacking Muruta’s charisma and political savvy, is just as monstrous as him. Djibril is a monster who is perfectly willing to declare a war for his pocket and bigotry. His death at the hands of Ray is 100% well deserved

I liked the singing voice from the original SEED.
Gundam seed & destiny really got me interested in writing, these complex story's are some of my favorites from my childhood
I don’t think I’ll ever hear any better version of this. Jillian Michaels is such a good singer.
demn...its a sad and beautiful song...nice...i want the full version
They need to fire the new cast of gundam seed and bring back original cast
I loved how Lacus make Kira, so happy and calm then flay. Kira you are so lucky guy.
