Just as I resign to the fact that the official museum set is not for me....Kim manages to create something BETTER. 😂. This is amazing! I do believe in my heart Lego should be employing you. Only two things that I personally would add...1) doors to the toy store, and 2) signage for the travel agency to make it obvious, maybe a small rocket sign🤷. Love love it Kim....youre sooo talented. Hope to build this someday.
@@brickartisan Just a note to say I haven't forgotten about doing a commission with you! I've been busy but will still send you more photos and get it set up soon.
oh man , what do you do to me! :) all 3 original Lego sets shown at the end of this video were not on my list .. but now? Now i wish to have them all, to build your awesome mocs ..
Geez Louise 😱 this thing is ridiculously good. Now you are just showing off 🙌 I really like the Museum but this has so much activity and is so alive and bustling. I have always wanted an official toy shop modular, but you have done it for them and its absolutely beautiful. The "TOYS" sign really speaks to me. Now I don't know of I should get 2 sets or not 😭
LOL thanks a lot. I think sets like Assembly Square, Detective's Office are very diverse and this would compliment those sets. I wasn't sure if people would like it but good to know that you do ^_^
This is incredible, this is SO incredible, that I feel like you should just use your own pieces n colors n re do it as something completely original like “colors, n theme” wise, but do same build basically, cause man🤯🤯, you got assembly square part 2 happening here
Thanks so much! Yes, This could definitely work as another redesign with different colors for each building. The main reason I did it using the Museum parts is so that others could easily collect the parts and build it for themselves ^_^
This actually makes the olive color looks nice. I didnt like the color on the original design. I have been searching for an alt build for the museum. This is the one!
im gonna try and built this set but entirely flipped the other direction so it can be the last building on the left hand side of my city, im curious if i can buy ur instructions on Rebrickable and screenshot them to horizontally flip them to make the building process easier, is that possible?
@@brickartisanhalfway through building it! it’s so awesome, the only thing i don’t love is that there aren’t holes to connect the technic piece to other modulars on one side, so i added my own. everything else is amazing
I respect your opinion. I would not force anyone to buy it if they think the price is too high. I would, however, note that this is a MOC that uses 3982 out of 4015 pcs from the set. It's 1.5 x 1 baseplate in size. Normal 1x1 baseplate designs on Rebrickable range from 10-15$ (sometimes more). There are designs that are less than 200 pcs but are being sold at 5$. Considering the design aspect of alternate builds, the constraints in parts, the preparation of the instructions (700+pages) and all other efforts put into it, I would stick by my price.

Thanks so much! Those are great ideas ad add ons to the MOC 😊
I like this better than the official building. It looks great!
Thank you 😊

You are quite the lego savant with incredible vision. I have a few your designs and you never cease to amaze me.
Thank you. Sorry for the late reply 😅
Well done there! Thanks for showing the process
Thank you 😊

Great MOC! I love that there is more room for stargazing at the top. Much safer than the original design.
Thank you. I’m glad I didn’t stop at the first draft of the design or it wouldn’t have turned out like this 😄
Amazing build 👏. You give me inspiration to moc some things
Thanks. Go for it 😊👍
Once again, you have shown me to be one one of the premier MOC Builders on UA-cam. I would only add doors to the Toy store at some point. 🎉
Thanks so much 😊 Doors are very much possible and easy to add for the toy store using a few extra pieces 😊

@brick artisan Lego needs to give this guy a designer job.

This build is amazing!!! However, in my personal opinion, the rebrickable directions being $20 is a bit steep.
