Iv never done honey however my grandpa used to grow sugar cane and made his own syrup. I used to help him its a very interesting process.

I didn't put mine up for sale on here, but I had a lot of people hit me up and some even ordered pints. A few were locals so I lucked out there and the others paid the shipping. I actually hooked them up with a little extra. had a good little harvest this year. I will have a lot of honey next year. We will have to do some swapping to taste one another's honey to see if we can tell a difference in flavor!

Remember to put a best before date on it if you can find a stamp with that many digits. 08/7018AD would be a funny best by date on honey.
Have you looked into wild flowers that are cow safe you can spread in the fields to increase the food for the bees and extend their harvest time by selecting flowers that bloom early and late in the season?

That was some nice, dark honey alright. Is Mrs. Stoney Ridge always so quiet, timid or what? I would be nice if you could get her to join in the discussion more often. She's got such a sweet smile, I couldn't have her checking my blood pressure, the reading would run higher than normal.
She's pretty quiet...I have a hard time getting her on camera for the simple fact that people make comments about how "hot" she is and other nasty stuff.....she has a hard time with that....we did a live feed and I finnaly got her to open up...she was chatting with me and it was great...next thing you know some pervert was slinging gross comments in the live stream chat....that's why she's not on the vlog much

To those that never had raw honey/pure honey, you are missing out big time. Doesn't even compare to the "honey flavored corn syrup" that's cheaply sold at the grocery stores.

Hey can u please suggest me in which container I can store bulk quantity of honey? Is it ok to store in air tight steel container?? And if we want in plastic which type of plastic can be used?? And can u please mention about the white container which is in ur video.
You didn't mention that the best honey was the one handing you jar lids!
Joking aside, I have always gotten the best honey from Individual producers. The commercial honeys usually seem to be diluted with some sort of sugary filler.

yep...but honey is sold by the pound....hand a mason jar full of honey to someone and ask them for $35 and they'll give ya a funny look lol
