- Welcome back to our Seabourn Odyssey cruise vlog series as we sail through the stunning waters of Alaska! In this video we enjoy a relaxing day at sea and show you what life on board this ultra-luxury cruise line is all about. This video starts with something we still can’t believe we got to experience, the northern lights at sea! It was SO amazing to walk out of our stateroom and watch the skies come alive! We had breakfast delivered to our room, did some trivia, rested and relaxed, and explored more of the ship before getting dressed up for formal night. What an amazing day this was!

I only nap on Sunday's. As soon as I get home from church, I go to bed, my little dog has learned my routine. She meets me at the door on Sunday and escorts me to the bedroom. LOL How she knows it's Sunday, I don't know.

Nice that you show the food untouched soon after it is placed on the table, you put down the camera to eat, then you describe your opinion of the meal later. It is preferred to a video of people stuffing their mouths then grunting, snorting, moaning, and making faces of extreme, exhilarating elation while waving forks and spoons as if conducting an orchestra. Both of you are excellent at expressing yourselves with your words and eyes. BTW, that jacket is a class act complemented by Sherri's elegant ensemble of clothing and accessories. Altogether eye-catching without being garish.

the northern lights over vancouver last may was spectacular and bright, we couldn't believe it was happening...around 11pm was the strongest with huge bursts of colour.
Your cruise looks incredible. We've never done Seabourn. It is very tempting. The service and food appears outstanding. Have a wonderful voyage.

We had quite the show in my neighborhood in Port Orchard (WA), usually we don’t see them that often or that vividly. I’m so happy you got to see such a spectacular display.
That passageway between Vancouver Island and the mainland is the Salish Sea. It’s one of the world's largest and biologically rich inland seas and it’s name pays tribute to the first inhabitants of the region, the Coast Salish. It’s an inland sea that encompasses Puget Sound, the San Juan Islands and the waters off of Vancouver, BC.

Soooo elegant!!! I am loving Seabourn , our financial advisor told us by 70, we need to start booking some world cruises ( or ultra luxury) to make sure we don’t leave one penny to our kids 😂 we earned it, we spending it. 🤭

I saw Beautiful colors of Pink Purple & some green. It was so magical. I’m 62 it took my Breath away. (It had Sherry Leggs hair color). My whole family enjoyed seeing them together. I hope we are lucky enough to see the Northern Lights on our Fairbanks trip in October! They look gorgeous! I'm so glad you had such a lovely cruise. I think, though, that this particular one might be a little too "grown up" for my taste. I didn't see too many activities on the list that sounded appealing to me. (except maybe high tea, and I'd love the Broadway concert) I'd probably love the food and the service and dressing up fancy. I'd probably enjoy it just for the being pampered while on vacation aspect. But I'm someone who chooses Disney for the theming and the whimsy- this feels like generic fancy place to me. 😆 (I do LOVE that jacket on you, though, Adam!)
I hope you get to se the northern lights too! We weren't sure what to expect rom the cruise, or how we would like it, but holy cow it was the most relaxing cruise we've ever done! Everything was just so wonderful!
Those naps on an ultra luxury ship hit different. I laughed at your 2 hour nap because it brought back memories from last year. It’s so good to relax. Isn’t it? And you both looked gorgeous! Cherry on top was the aurora borealis. I am jealous but also very happy for you both.

At MPL it was cloudy all the nights of the Aurora, so I missed them. Maybe next time they appear.

Ooooh, we were told the blue was last year, so that's good to know. They only had a few blue jackets, but lots of black ones.

Oooh, good question! I think so, but I’m not positive. Probably would be worth checking out some ship maps just to make sure

Yup! It was great to be so close to shore and always being able to see the scenery!
The Northern lights from the ship were so cool.My friend who lives in the North of England wanted to see them.They went to Norway,no show.They went to Iceland,no show,they took a special flight to see them,also no show.Last week they saw them..from their yard at home …Loved your jacket Adam! Sherri always looks nice….
Knowing that I would watch this vlog after I hot home from work got me through the day. I’m currently going through kidney stone issues, so this vlog was a delightful way to keep my mind off things. Some of the people who can aford this cruise are executives that need to unwind and I would love a tea and book. Just Decompress and enjoy the experience. Next Jacket should be blue.

The Northern Lights were spectacular in Canada too that evening! That was the evening they were calling for a geo storm (? may not be the name) and the Northern Lights were going to be the best show in quite some time!
We've seen a lot of Northern Lights shows, but this one was definitely among the best we've ever seen!

What months is best to Cruise to possibly see the northern lights?
Early to mid-May and late September and October would be best. You need the skies to be dark and some cold.
I would love a no tip culture and employers just paying enough

@@LeggLife yes but I’m not American so it always annoys me when there, because life is almost as expensive as in Europe and then we have to tip on top when visiting.
