Wow, had no idea there were soo many different types of artichokes... one of favorite vegetables. Very interesting & informative video. Makes me want to go to the market right now and buy a bunch of yummy artichokes!!
Watched this video while eating artichoke with a friend. We wanted to know more about artichokes. Thank you. very educating. One question we had is why would you prefer cultivating the artichokes as annual crops rather than perennials? Seems less environmentally friendly as well as not economic.
Good info, as is typical of UCANR videos, sadly, also typical of UCANR videos, the radio microphone audio is horrible - noisy, clipped, single channel - poorly recorded and similarly neglected in the edit suite where it could have been sweetened to reduce the negative impact of the raw original.
I really enjoyed watching this video. I miss cali and that area. I'm going to eat 2 artichokes with butter now. Im in Swannanoa, NC with hillbillies now until my landlady throws me out for not being a hillbilly
I was at the store august 2022 and saw the prettiest ones i ever saw..i bought two Ate them that night...went back.and they ALL WERE.GONE!!! THEY HAVENT HAD ANY SINCE...THAT I HAVE SEEN LI
The soil looks lifeless. If you need tractors to aerate the soil then the infrastructure is wrong and it is not a farm, it's a business. So sad that here in Europe things are going the same way. #desertification.
Very interesting. 3:32 The Best Part was when he's showing the plants in full size and is trying to show the stalks, the leaves were in the way and he mashed them down 😂 hahaha Donald Trump... I know where all your migrants are headed! 😳😅
I like your system! I appreciate your willingness to share it with us as part of the community that relied on you for a great product!

He answers this at 3:53 in the video.
_"Watched this video while eating..."_ Then immediately asks a question that proves you didn't watch the video 😂😂😂
So grateful for sharing! I am always curious about how my favorite vegetables and foods are produced.
I see no mention of fertilization , would curious to hear about that
Any chemicals added to the soil? does not touch the subject.
Very interesting video. 👍
What varieties are most highly recommended as annuals?
Golden Globe
Hi, I am very interested in the weed control machines you use. is it possible to have the manufacturer and the model? Thank you

No budget for microphone 🤷♂️
I do not see any tractor drivers having seat belts on. Your operations do not look safe.
Why are the artichokes so big at the stores? We'd love to see artichokes that are the size of a baseball, not a softball/Texas grapefruit...
