Geez, I was sweating just watching bowl up the 1 board. I couldn't do that lol. They'd all go straight into the ditch for me. Lol
My venom shock does that when I try to play stright with it all it wants to do is hook stopie! hook and stop when finds the Fiction! then when I move a lil left and their right up the 3rd arrow then it wants to hook! The venom shock its a smooth cover! symmetrical solid! Once it reads fiction it wants to lose energy and and stop hooking even if u throw it slow or with a lil speed 9 or 13mph and if u skaph it with 2000 pad then it hooks like crazy with split to pick up! on a usbc modified house shot
and the venom shock supposed to be a earlier smooth hooking ball! 🤔
Cool tech bowling Jr Raymond
Tougher than nails 😬
Basically have to buy a couple balls to ruin to use in this tournament. 360 grit and below is were you have to be.
I would have either done the same as JR did here, or I would have taken my least aggressive ball down, slowed everything down to a crawl, and jumped all the way inside, lofting the ball past the arrows. Bowling balls can't skid, hook, OR roll in the air so while it would have looked really bad that might have worked. There's footage of Jason Eubanks from hit it harder lofting it to the markers on the Dragon pattern which is what, 52'? Ball took an INSTANT left turn. I know lofting is looked down upon but it is DAMN useful sometimes.
Either way...damn. I wonder how much oil was out there? Looks like a 45' or so pattern with just a LOT of volume.
I love playing out there.. 1-2 board... I know.. rare nowadays
wow. no comparison from this to the U.S. open. this new span makes you so much more relaxed and nice to it at release.
Watched about 5 hours of the Bradley sandpaper open!
Glad to see more Bowlifi jerseys. Ordered a jersey from Coolwick and had a horrible customer service experience and then they just ghosted me haha. Ordered a couple of jerseys from Bowlifi and the experience has been nothing but amazing.
It is cool to see that there are still some younger people willing to play up the one. That is my favorite shot to play. I am going to go try the tournament next year.
Just curious, why no urethane from way out there?
Probably too much oil
Would have just burned up. 5-7-10 variations galore.
Absolutely no energy when it gets to the pocket. This house will split your ass to death with Urethane.
Further right than this???
That was my question. I've seen bowlers loft the left gutter cap, but I think I've only seen footage of someone lofting the right cap exactly once.
Hi JR, I saw a lot of your videos on getting under the ball at the point of release, and everything you said made sense. I just can’t seem to get my hand under the ball no matter how hard I try, even for a fraction of a second. I sometimes think my span might be too short. Can you possibly make another video regarding the release?
What a tough pattern. I've never seen anyone have to work so hard to make the Gem perform.
Made that Gem look like a plastic ball.
Ryan's left hand still hurts. Is being two-handed an advantage or not here??? See you soon!
Do the higher rev players still struggle like this?
