Yes, it can be animated, but after enough cranking on the joints, the armature wire would eventually break. I'd use this process for a short animation that would be measured in seconds, but not in minutes. A lot of the longer production armatures are these heavily machined wonders of tiny engineering like this: amzn.to/3ebk26e. I think I remember reading about the original Gumby puppets having a wire armatures inside and they'd have a bunch of Gumbys ready to go during production when one started to break. And thanks for the compliment on the video!

Inspirational!
I enjoyed watching you create the art doll!!!
Thanks so much 😊
I am a big fan of your creations and your videos, keep up this awesome work!
I appreciate it Rita and seeing you in the comments section! 💫
Your videos are really interesting, I like the style of your creations
Thank you, it's a style I've been working at for a while and hope to encourage people to find their own artistic voice. 😀
@@TheDreamSyndicateArts you're succeeding, thanks
So out of curiosity, can this doll be used for stop motion animation? And would the wires break if used to much? Great video btw!
Yes, it can be animated, but after enough cranking on the joints, the armature wire would eventually break. I'd use this process for a short animation that would be measured in seconds, but not in minutes.
