In this video we go over how to get those inner & outer corner lashes. Lash Artists of all experience levels can get frustrated with those inner & outer corners when applying eyelash extensions. They are usually shorter, more curly, and harder to see, making applying already tiny lash extensions. However, it is important to lash those inner and outer corners as it will make the set look more full and seamless and will set you apart from other lash artists. Yegi has found a way to use tape to make the process of getting those lashes way easier! Who knew that this easy, budget friendly trick was in your kit already 😉

I just wanted to say I've been binging your videos lately trying to learn more techniques on lash extensions. I didn't get to practice on any models during beauty school because of the strict Covid restrictions. I just have a potential job coming up as a lash tech and while they of course said they'd help train me, but your videos have been wonderful in even getting started!
I'm so happy to hear that!!! Yes, it was definitely difficult for our students as well to get that full experience, but glad your potential employer will be helping you out! I would also recommend practicing on friends if you feel comfortable. If you have the ability to film yourself, it can really help you see what you're doing, what you may need to improve on, etc. Good luck with everything!
If you use a dental mirror to see if the eye is open after doing the tape method it would make life so much easier…just a trick I learned along the way
Great tip! Mirrors are such an underrated useful tool!
Our next LA class dates! All combo classes come with a FREE online lash lift course.
March 12 & 13 | Sun & Mon
April 22 & 23 | Sat & Sun
June 4 & 5 | Sun & Mon
July 15 & 16 | Sat & Sun
Classes are from 10am to 6pm with a provided one hour lunch. Link to enroll is always in our video descriptions. Want to leave a deposit? Email academy@yegibeauty.com to see your options!
Not in LA? We also offer online courses.
I hope this video help finally someone throughly explain bc i would tap the whole tape down instead just the top. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Nice tips!
Thanks for watching!
Question, does a lash tech have to lash every lash on the outer corners ? Is it ok to leave some lashes
It is best to lash every lash, but sometimes in the outer corner, the lashes may be facing downward and any added extensions may cause droopiness. You can use your best judgment to either add shorter lengths to the outer corner to fill the area but not make it droopy or leave a few not lashed.
What lash brand and glue do u use? pls
Hey! Everything I use is from my own brand Yegi Beauty - website is in the description and you're free to DM us on Instagram or any of our social media handles if you have any questions about our products!
Hi Yegi, I'm inquiring about your upcoming class in July. On your website, I sent an inquiry/emailed but still waiting to hear from someone.
Hey! We should be getting back to you soon if we haven't already - if you don't get a response, feel free to email our academy email directly (in the description)
What’s the purpose of the mask when is not covering her nose? Or does she have bad breath?
How do you maintain the classics to stay the straight direction? Everytime I finish my set on the inner corners and the middle lashes go to the sides looking like if it has a gap
Hey! I go over this a bit more in my last video about the classic eyelash extension fill if you want to check that out!
Are you using a clear glue? If so what is the reason?
Yes I am! For me it's mostly preference, it's my favorite glue to use at the moment, but some good reasons to use the clear glue is (1) if you like a really fast drying glue and (2) you're working with colorful lashes and want them to remain as bright as possible. The one thing with clear glue to note is that it can dry white if it touches moisture, like if the client's eyes are sensitive and start to tear. If the client does have a tendency to have their eyes water, I would recommend going for a white glue to avoid the white bits from forming. Hope that helps!
I don't have any money, I want to learn to be able to support my son
Good luck with everything! Lash techs can have a very flexible schedule which is great for moms. Hope my videos can help you! Would definitely recommend training and getting a license if it is required in your state or country.
