Victorian High Country's Billy Goats Bluff track in the Y62 Patrol

Victorian High Country is a great destination especially if you like steep loose rocky climbs on the edge of cliffs, and the great vies that come with these hills. This particular track was one for the bucket list, ticked off now along with Crooked river and Blue Rag range.

It looks much wider and smoother than i recall it from the 90s, though that could be because i commented one third in before the narrow rough bits.

good job. your wife must have been very patient waiting for you to do all of that. I did it a week ago (the most recent time, in a stock challenger) and yeah its not a quick little side trip :-) hope the guy with the stuffed clutch got out ok

It has a rear factory locker.. so yeah I got up.. but there was a couple of spots i had serious doubts. but thankfully I was following mates up in their hiluxes. previous couple of times is was heaps easier as the track wasnt as bad.@@OzPatrol66

Depends on experience i reckon, but with right line choice and tyre pressure most fourbies should be fine, in my opinion, but ive never driven one. Are you travelling with someone else, one bloke was winching while i was up there but was in the loose stuff.
