I am 69, and I grew up listening to Rex Nelon and the Nelons. I loved watching the family on all the Gaither Homecoming series. This family has dedicated their lives to Southern Gospel music. Thank you for your years of service. I'll see you on the other side!!
Their song selections on this day were almost prophetic. May God allow the hundreds of friends, fans and especially family of those precious lives now ended on this earth grieve with the hope they so beautifully sang about. Their family chain is broken, but God did lead them home where there will be no scars except on the hands that now hold them. Prayers for all.....
"Take my hand precious Lord lead me Home". They were all led home. Autumn we love you. We dont understand Gods ways but He sees what we cant. We praise God for godly family

The song "I am going home" and the song "the only scars of heaven are the hands that hold you now" were powerful. Not knowing how close they were to going home.
