I love how she talks about her community and the tradition of passing on skills. It's a lost art in modern times. I am trying to learn how to knit, my aunt is teaching me, next I want to learn how to do embroidery. My mother in law loves to quilt and years ago I was gifted lessons on how to quilt, all by hand, no machine. I am teaching my 8 year old daughter a few simple sewing and knitting skills. I hope that Tara's store keeps all these lovely traditions alive 😊

The community spirit that Tara has created extends well beyond the walls of the store. Provider has become part of the fabric of Surry Hills and Tara is a true local legend 🙌

Wow. First I was blown away by the store and thought I’d love to just go in and browse and then I saw the studio and thought I’d really want to work in that space. Beautiful and inspiring.
I spoke too soon! Now I see the house. Dear me, I’d live there.
