Hello Jordan, watching your vid using the flap, with it in down position, are you able to trim around the tree you just went by, from the right (discharge) side with this flap, another words, does the flap keep like 95% clippings inside deck?

Hey David, yes, with the flap completely closed and the engine idled down, the bulk of the clippings do not come out. However you do have to watch out for leaving clumps behind if you leave the flap closed to long.
Pretty sure the flaps that have holes, those holes get blocked within 5 secs of use rendering them useless
Never throttle down while blades are engaged. bad for motor. Unless you mean cut pto off and then lower rpm.
