Just a clarification: Ibrahim (Peace Be Upon Him) did have to go through a test in which he was going to be burned in a large fire and Allah ordered to fire to become cool for Ibrahim BUT it wasn't Namrood who ordered the fire to be brought out for Ibrahim it was actually Ibrahim's OWN people who made a fire.
The debate with Namrood happened AFTER the events of the fire and the debate events are accurate but after he defeated Namrood in debate Namrood did not retaliate against him, he allowed Ibrahim to go his own way.
HOWEVER, the events regarding Namrood's boastful claim that he is better than God and that he decided to challenge God is TRUE. And he gathered his armies with the SOLE PURPOSE of fighitng the God of Ibrahim.
Shortly afterwards the punishment of Allah came to Namrood and his armies for his disobedience.
