The big question is how much maturing Jørgen Nordhagen does trough the winter. He was maybe the best cross country skiing talent since Thomas Alsgaard. His Junior World Championship 20 km skatestyle victory is one of the best races ever done by a human. There were 90 skiers going 6 laps, and if one got lapped, he was out of the race. Jørgen lapped 40 or 41 skiers, and finished more than 2 minutes ahead of the silver. And then there is biking, his father was Norwegian road champion. Jørgen won Birkebeiner-rittet for seniors at the age of 17. He is one of the best climbers among the juniors in the world. In 2024 he didnt get the results he wanted, and had some weekraces where he was in GC lead after ca day 3 and got sick and didnt finish. He probably got sugarempty in Junior World Championship. Late in the autumn he had a strong win in Italy where he made a Pogacharic long singlebreak. Next spring Jørgen have been pro-biker for a year. I hope he has been able to build the health and consistency to finish in threeweekraces, but it is maybe one year too early. Pity that Staune -Mittet left and that Visma Lease a Bike doesnt prioritize skiing. They could actually sent a team to the relay in the Norwegian Championship. But I understand them. Jørgen needs to focus on building consistence. Do anyone know how good he is breathing? Above or below 100 ml O2 pr kg?
I think Jonas Vingegaard will surprise a lot of people in 2025. If everyone stays healthy Jonas could certainly win the Tour. Folks are slightly premature in granting world domination status to Tadej Pogacar.
At least in grand tours… I would love to see jonas do some one-day-races like liege or worlds next year to know if he is maybe closer to Pog than it seems
McClay was contracted specifically as a leadout to Olav Kooij... However, he was offered a one year contract only, and both his and Kooij's contract end in 2025... this suggest Visma assumes Kooij will be leaving the squad at the end of season 2025...
@rafalpruszynski6129 so did Contador, but there's a ceiling, a cap riders hit. You never know which one will get how much more better. Physically, Vingo has higher lung capacity, better climber body frame, so, idk where you base your opinion.
Cian Uijtdebroeks was suffering from pinched nerve in his lower back and is now slowly recovering, aassisted by his physiotherapist...

Don't know his numbers.. But I am confident Visma will cherish him and let him mature carefully and slowly...

When will Jonas win giro/tour/world championship and classics in the same year like pogacar did??
In your dreams...

Robert has been with the team going all the way back to the Robobank days. Will he stay on as a Director?
Thanks. Sepp Kuss will be key,
Yes, hopefully he can find his 2023 form.
Mateo Jorgensen most improved world tour Rider of the year for sure
or a good doper
Visma still has one position to fill...
Jorgensen will much and more improved GC rider. Maybe he will more better GC options than both Yates bro.
Jorgensen could win Roubaix I believe
Jonas will never win the Tour ever again.
Agree!
Why all the hatred my dude?
@aleksanderxhemo it's not hatred. Its realism. Pogačar is much better and since he's younger he has more room to improve

@aleksanderxhemo he's 1.5 years older. As for lung capacity, nobody knows the numbers other than the teams.
Contador want in this league
