- Tuned my 2020 Subaru WRX STI! In the previous videos, I installed a catback exhaust system as well as a new downpipe for the car. With that being said, your STI NEEDS A TUNE with a Cobb Accessport. I think he complimented the silver nicely with the dark blue and neon, roof would bring it all together but thats just opinion. I think it looks sick

If your fuel system is still stock, definitely upgrade it before the fuel stumble happens. It usually happens on STIs after a stage 2 tune with a stock fuel system.

@@chris_borges Yeah, it happened to my 2020 STI when I had the same mods as you. I’m pretty sure your tuner is familiar with the fuel stumble and may recommend specific parts for their tune. You’ll also notice even more torque with the upgraded fuel system and a revised map for the new fuel system. Enjoy the car! ✌️

I’ve tuned tuned for a downpipe recently but can’t get rid of the check engine light for o2 sensor
@@osbaldocastaneda28 you need to get the o2 sensor spacer, that should help
I remember doing this before when my 86 was still N/A, it was a learning experience for sure! But once I went boosted I went just straight dyno for my own safety! Also Graham is a g, he tuned my 86! Awesome video as always Chris! ❤

Unless it's for accurate data, no need to pull over/stop to switch between intelligent, sport, sport sharp modes. It's an electronically supported system. Plus, all it does is just allow you to access full boost, better throttle response, and essentially all the STI has to offer.

My recommendations are to change your oil every 3k do not go with what Subaru says which is 6k. Bump your oil to 5w40 (Motul) and oil filter go with the Mazda Rx8 oil filter.

@@jdmteggy2388 because it’s the same brand Subaru used to use and it’s a bit bigger & it still holds the same amount of oil pressure. The blue ones are Fram rebranded filters

Nice video and glad you explained the e-tuning process in a clear, concise way! I am on the fence about a downpipe rn, I would like it, but hear that even the catted dp are throwing codes, so that is holding me back for sure. What was your tuner's opinion on that, if there is a work around with catted dp, etc.? Or is that to just be expected with the Green Speed update?

Cobb website has an OTS tune. It should be stage 2+

Can you do Magnaflow single exit exhaust🥺? Part # 19547
Don't run ots tunes at all. Everyone is at different elevations... go get a protune ASAP. Ots tunes knock and reduce dam.
I’ve been running ots stage 1+ for a whole year now in Nebraska with no issues at all but I do agree with you if you change down pipe, tow that thing to a shop and don’t even run it on the street without pro tune
