I joined the Air Force and they paid me while teaching me a trade. Did my 6 and got out after 4 years in Japan and 2 years in Hawaii making 6 figures easy as an aircraft mechanic. There are guys paying $50k a year to learn that.
It doesn't come easy , most people want rap as a career sometimes don't have a plan if that rap career doesn't take off and so rob having the military as a side its very smart. They can still live in there hometown but they have to report to duty one weekend a month. For people trying to leave their old lifestyle, it would be better to go active Active army is where you’re a full time soldier. They get to more pay, full benefits, really get to see the world.
Active hold you back, you doing ya job 24/7 not to mention if that boy would’ve been placed in a combat unit. I say that cuz I did 8 years active. Granted you get the money but music changes. Don’t trip the city got his back. He get his flowers out chere in New Orleans while he alive baby.
