Just amazing what a rider can do on todays bikes, incredible. Its funny because, me on my 29er hardtail and never being a DHer. Mind you I got into the sport when there was little seperating XC from DH equipment wise! Anyways, I see video and think, bummer, the lens just doesn;t show how steep this or that was yet here there are clearly sections near vertical! Hard to deny trees coming up at such an angle!
1:40 looks like a future development opportunity to get the natural slab rock burn involved. Is this going to be a permanent track as part of a new public riding location or is it near Merthyr ?
Holy FUCK. 1 and only 1 safety net/wall on the course for barely two seconds, maybe 100m of red marking strip, and a couple safety mats?!? Well Dan Atherton is officially a rider who shouldn't physically be able to sit down on a bike anymore.
