Please tell your friend to look into cortisone shots or the carpal tunnel release surgery. It has worked wonders for me. I unfortunately suffered with it in both hands. I had surgery on a Friday and was back to work on Monday with only 3 stitches that you can’t even see the scar for now. Two months later did the other hand. The longer she waits the worse it will be.
