- Beauty and the Beast is one of if not THE best Disney movies ever... so of course this means Disney had to go and capitiliz- I mean "re-imagine" the film for a "modern audience". In this video essay I compare two scenes to each other, the West Wing and Wolf Chase/Fight scene. I hope you enjoy the video and that I can show you why the remake is hot steaming garbage.

Also I felt that the Beast was terrified when he found Belle invading the west wing - he's aware that if the rose petals are removed, he gets stuck as a beast for good.
My favorite example between these two movies is the library.
In the original he gives it to her because he genuinely wants to do something nice for her, which is actually a significant progression in their relationship.
In the remake he just does it to prove a point which undermines how important the gift-giving actually is
Loved the "big leagues" remark.
I hated the Aladdin remake more, but thought Will Smith was fine as the Genie (Robin Williams is a hard act to follow).
I loved The Jungle Book remake.
I have yet to see the Aladdin remake but I do like the Jungle Book Remake.
The Jungle Book is my favorite remake by far.
3:14 I'm sorry! I was just looking!
3:24 *Freezes* (Don't say anything don't say anything, just back down, slowly, don't look at his eyes, I'm sorry, don't speak and move out)
The thing is, this is (in my opinion) the least bad Disney live action remake.
They get worse 😳
Indeed they do get worse
You know he’s absolutely right
