I just upgraded to a 100ah Power Queen LiFePo4 battery. Thanks for the instructions as i was able to change the settings to accommodate a LiFePo4 battery. greetings from Jamaica.
Thank you for the video. People buying this controller or not buying lithium I was having a hard time figuring out weather lithium setting was there or not
Very nice instructions. I got mine recently and i'm very happy with it so far and it works well.. Sorry i did not see your video before so i could have used your link to buy it. Greetings from sunny Jamaica.
I need advice, please: I have a 455W solar panel...I bought BOTH Mppt and Pmw controllers from China (100A)...When I connect the solar panel, the controllers don't accept the panel? The controller shuts down soon?! Thank you very much
I have this Rich 40amp controller with BT-1. 3 - 12v AGM batteries. 2 are VMAX are SLR100qh and 1 is NPP 12v200ah all in parallel. I can see battery capacity on my IPhone with no problem. I would like to also be able to page to it on the controller itself. I have been unable to find it in the tab lists. I even disconnected the BT-1. The option is not present anywhere on the list. I do not have anything connected on the load terminals even though I have a 4000w inverter behind the controller. Can you comment on maybe why the battery level will display on the controller? Could it be that the capacity of 3rd battery is 200ah instead of 100ah like batteries 1 and 2? Any ideas would appreciated! Thanks for the video!!
So. You get the same thing I get. A 24 volt battery bank and the settings show 12 volt settings. For example, I don't think you are using a 14.6 volt equalizer charge for a 24 volt system. I have been just doubling the numbers but I am currently hooking up $3600 worth of lithium batteries. Not something I want to just guess at. Also it would be nice to use the BT-1 module to enter settings but it is very limited. Not to mention the fact that the record system tends to screw up on a regular basis. If I had money to burn I would get a better system. That being said, the thing does what it is supposed to do (charge the batteries) and has been doing so for 2 years.

Thanks for this video, explains a lot not in the manual. Now I know what user is! I may even be able to get my BT-1 monitor to work 🤔
Thank you for the video . My dilemma still exist but I have learned the charge controller will reset if I switch to generator for a minute

I’m not sure what you’re doing without you’re explaining. You bounce around and I’m confused!
I agree

I have a 60amp change controller and I need know how to set it up
How do I set it to use the solar and charge the battery?
I have a 40A and the BT1 Bluetooth, but the Bluetooth does not come up, even with the BT1 connected. How do I get the BT1 to work?
What does com mean on the controller, by the way great video
Thank you for compliment! I am at a loss I must admit. Where does it say com? I couldn’t find it.
@@billyhere9279 it normally come up to the left of error code at the bottom of the display screen
@@1231dre Here Is what I found. It means “communication” for when the BT-1 is connected. So when you are connected it will display COM.
Can you please tell how to change the temperature from celsius to degrees?
Unfortunately these don’t have a Fahrenheit as an option. They are in Celsius only at the moment. :(
I didn't see the setting for charge limit control. By going out in lithium doesn't that change some settings. Thanks...

How do I set it so it always provides exactly 12v to the load? It is powered a light and the load is pulling too much.
I will get a microscope to see the menu's !

Advising is the issue here. You didn't.
