It pisses me off how the island has one and aberration but why not scorched earth???? its part of the story and everything so why no cut scene on scorched earth is a good question to ask
Sadly, during the charity livestream, they announced that they wouldn't be adding a Scorched Earth cutscene, despite the fact that it's canon. You literally go there after the Island.
Aberration Ascension tops them all. I fuckin love the music and feeling of victory over Alpha Rockwell. There were 5 of us on Drakes with ascendant saddles and pump shottys.
I wish extinction would have kept that background atmosphere. The one we get is great, but this scorched skies, dark and murky and thunder and lightning would have made the ending so much more contrasting.
Well, I have just read this on the Ark wiki (ark.gamepedia.com/Scorched_Earth) "There is a planned Ascension cutscene (in Scorched Earth) where it takes you to Aberration ARK, much like how defeating the Overseer takes you to Scorched Earth and how defeating Rockwell in Aberration takes you to Dead Earth in Extinction." Maybe it is just speculation, but maybe when Extinction is released, we would have an Ascension scene from the Manticore Arena to Aberration, hopefully.
Scorched earth is the most worthless dlc imo. I have all of the games and haven’t bothered to play over an hour of it. I think the devs just didn’t want to be bothered, fortunately they learned their lesson with Abberation.
Cause it cames out on Spetember 1st of 2016, Ark wasn't finished and the Overseer battle wasn't out yet. If Scorched Earth got one in the past it would be spoil. But don't worry, it's planned for SE to have an Ascension ^^
Scorched Earth was rushed out to recover lawsuit costs at the cost of technical polish. The devs at one point said they want to include an ascension cutscene but have recently more or less said "maybe, maybe not..."
