  • we took dad to Bolder city to ride the train for father's day. The Nevada State Railroad Museum in Boulder City tells the story of railroading and its importance to Nevada’s history and culture for the enrichment of all who visit through the acquisition, preservation, and exhibition of railroad history. HOURS
    Open-air Pavilion Hours
    The Museum Pavilion is open daily
    9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
    Closed some state holidays,
    subject to staff availability.
    Train Rides
    Saturday and Sundays
    10:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm*, 4:00pm*
    *Afternoons trains cancelled in summer.
    ADMISSION
    Open-air Pavilion
    Admission is free,
    donations encouraged.

    $10 adults (ages 12 & older)
    $5 children (ages 4 - 11)
    Free for children ages 3 and youngerNevada Division of Museums and History’s seven state museums will join museums nationwide in the Blue Star Museums initiative, a program that provides free admission to active-duty U.S. military personnel and their families this summer.
