- Numerous proofs are derived from the Quran and Hadith relaying the importance of obeying ones parents. The All-Mighty Allah (swt) calls you to obey Him, and immediately calls you to the obedience of those that bore and raised you. One should reflect on these verses and seek to understand the rights of parents in Islam, the successes derived from adhering to these rights and the riches obtained by showing humility, kindness and respect to them. All are key factors in obtaining the pleasure of Allah (swt).

Asalam Ale3kum Wa Rahmatulahi Wa Barakatu brothers. I know a girl who needs some tips. She decides to wear a Khimaar. But her parents are against it. And she is very worried, I told her to ignore them, because Islam stands above parents. And I told her, they need time to get used to just ignore it and they will undestand you some day. Islam and ofcourse our Lord the Greatest Allah Subhana Wa Ta'3ala is ofcourse more important than your parents. Can someone help me please? Wasalam.

be dutiful to your parents don't say uff meaning don't talk back but if you do try to explain in the most kindest and nicest manner. trust me you day will feel like blessings if you keep your parents happy through out the day. been there done that now all i need to do is keep it consistent.

Ur parents simply have rights over u for being ur parents even if the've abandoned u cuz u are a present from God to them. They own you.
