Nice fix for that little machine! Your front panel socket is a Dinse which is smaller than Tweco and highly preferred for what you're doing. Converting to MIG is easy by running the gas tube from a MIG gun to your choice of solenoid valves. See the WELD-PAK 100 conversion videos for how-to. Drives can be cannibalized from old industrial MIGs and separate feeders too if one doesn't want to pay retail for the mechanism.
I have the exact welder and a couple of big and bigger Millers but none of the Millers can do sheet metal but the Lincoln can and in mig, quite nicely too, once video bro.
I've never had a problem with mine ! It must be intermittent, I wonder what percent of machines have this issue ? I've heard alum can be tricky without a spoolgun.
I have the same machine and have the same problem, the feed wheel spins but doesn't pull the wire. I just ordered a gnarled wheel from Amazon. Hopefully it helps. Ill update my post after I try it out.
with gas or gasless????? I have one just like yours and im really confused. On the machine says flux core gassless. but looks like mig is with argon because I have a tip on the back where you connect gas hose. Im really thrown off by what the machine says and what others are saying lol
I don't appreciate how Lincoln makes the gas valve open electrically at the same time the wire starts feeding. Guarantees the initial arc has no shield gas. Clarke has superior engineering as they use mechanical valve that opens independently of the wire feed actuation. Can hold trigger halfway and preflow some shield gas. Sorry, Lincoln, like the red paint but you still have a lot to learn about designing a welder. One more microswitch and you can preflow, too.
knock on wood iv had mine for about 10 or 12 years also n probably run thru one of the tiny 1lb spools like u had on urs in about a month n iv never had a single problem other the occasional birds nest but im pretty sure thats because of my rigged ass sleeve :p iv put a new drive roller on a few times but nothin else other than tips
Yes I’m sorry I made this video some time ago I made sure it functions as it should just smoother and more reliable it’s a much better built unit thank you

Can you do a video in how you did it. Great Job. I never thought that will be possible.
Thank you!

A real problem solved logically that saves time and money. Thank you!
I have the same welder ran into a lot of problems I’m about to convert it exactly like yours

I wonder if the wire speed knob system could also be changed out for one of the infinite style instead of the 4 settings one
No because the transformer is different on a tapped welder. For the little machines it's far from critical.

Did it fix your problem ?

also I did not watch your whole video, so that's why im just asking
Where did you buy Drive roll system
I have this same unit , used it four times and now it only clicks and won't feed wire ... Sad
Quiciera que me traducirán en español como poner los alambritos que ban por dentro de la pistola de soldar Lincon 3"200

Can you plug it on a 110v outlet?
Yes it’s a 110v machine still going strong

I see one for sale for 350 is that a good deal
Thank you for your insight I appreciate your knowledge can you please send me the part number please thank you
Is it possible to hook up the stock gas line to this system, or is it strictly fluxcore specific?
Yes I’m sorry I made this video some time ago I made sure it functions as it should just smoother and more reliable it’s a much better built unit thank you
en español no podrían poner las esplicaciones porfa orita
I’d pay you shipping for the old parts for spares for mine
I have the exact machine and it makes me crazy trying to weld and the roller keeps slipping no matter what wire or what roller makes me crazy
