    Great video. Definitely subscribed. I appreciate the educational part of the video. Very thoroughly done. Too many people just post videos for us to watch them fish when you think they are gonna teach you tactics like depth, how far under floats and other important details. Look forward to watch plenty more of these to improve my lack of crappie fishing skills. Lol
    Do notice you catch more on the bottom jig or the top or is it pretty much equal?
    Thanks, keep killin it out there

    Double jiggin is awesome, however increases my chance of getting stuck, HAHA I need more TOTW!!! And more practice double jig fishing. Love that spot. Maybe if I wear my new Jiggin w Jake hoodie itll fool em to jump on my hook!!

    • @jigginwithjake2796
      @jigginwithjake2796  3 роки тому

      I’ve heard that JwJ hoodies do assist in catching limits. Now, I can’t confirm that. But, it’s the word around the camp fire.
      Keep after em. You’ll get it dialed in.

    Do you use a lighter weight jig on the upper jig of your double jig rig ?

    • @jigginwithjake2796
      @jigginwithjake2796  3 роки тому

      I use 1/32 on both jigs. Keep in mind, I’m not dropping jigs deep. If I were jigging deep structure, I would use a 1/8 or even a 1/4 on the bottom jig, depending on depth. But, from the bank, during spawn, I’m setting that float at 8 to 18 inches deep.

    hello,i like your channel and was wondering how to tell a male from a female

    • @jigginwithjake2796
      @jigginwithjake2796  4 місяці тому

      Males are easy to spot in the spring. They turn dark during their spawn. Commonly referred to as their “tuxedo”
      Outside of spawn just check their vent. If they have two they are females.
