- The Magician Upright: You have everything you need to make your vision a reality. Being in control of your mastery, skill, and possessing extraordinary power. Manifestation. Making real. Creation, being a channel for energy and the conduit for the creation of great things. Using your power for good. The actual concrete steps of beginning and follow-through. Will power, directing your abilities to useful ends. Focusing of energy. Feeling impelled to create. The ability to communicate your vision to others.
The Magician Best Course of Action: Act on your plan. Use all the resources at your disposal. Understand you have everything you need right in front of you. Proceed with a balanced approach, not just logic, passion, emotion or financial resources but incorporate all into your plan. Brainstorm and then begin. Take center stage and communicate. Trust in your own abilities. If you need something, now is the time to ask for it, from a place of confidence.
The Magician Reversed: Confusion, lack of will, unclear purpose, weakness. Misdirected energy, which can manifest as anxiety, panic, fear, stagnation. Wanting something but being unsure on how to get it or wanting something which might not be best for you. Can also represent power abused, skills and connections used for ill, deceit, misappropriation of funds or goods. Can indicate someone in your life who is not to be trusted or who is feeling blocked and frustrated.
The Magician Reversed Best Course of Action: You may need to acquire additional skills or resources to develop your abilities. Gather resources before beginning. If something isn’t working out, it just might not be the right time. Refine your goals, and plans on how to get there. Look for bugs or problems in a project. Anticipate obstacles, difficulties, some which might seem to come out of thin air. Watch out for people spinning tall tales or promising too much.

You are by far the best Tarot teacher I have come across. My grandmother read the cards all throughout her lifetime, and since she passed I have picked it up. I like when you say you are using your power for good. In regarding the health question. The Magician turned upright on the present position when my 7 years old son was going to have the ear surgery the next day. I can't help thinking about the surgeon, his knowledge and all his tools right in front of him. Like the magician. Telling me my son will be taken care by the professional. I had the Knight of swords in the past position represented a bad guy telling me that the infection aggressively caused damage to his ear. Hope my experience could help.
