what do you wanna know, disadvantages for me is gas and creaky interior. Its a 20 year old gm car so its expected but other than that its the most fun ive had in a car. though i recently blew up my engine trying to go 190 lol
@@sldkkdmd obv it depends how it was taken care of (applies to every car) but most corvettes are quite clean since they’re owned by boomers. They do have a few quirks such as the harmonic balancer, leaking battery, steering column lock, and just electrical issues since it’s a 20 yr old GM car. But overall it’s quite reliable in my experience. Once you clear these small issues(I wouldnt count harmonic balancer as small issue (600-700 for a shop to do it) it’s quite a nice car. As long as it’s stock it should be bulletproof. T56 can handle like 600-700. But it just has small anoyying issues that aren’t a big deal
@@sldkkdmd it just needs common maintenance nothing crazy like a bmw. Obv if you want to make it last it would be better to freshen up certain stuff like spark plugs and such. But other than my performance mods I haven’t really spent much on “repairing” it. All I really did was fix the AC actuators
@@C5Zach especially In the first year produced in 1997. It looked like a chunky rx7 with a flat nose. The 99 FRC was definitely an improvement but kinda sucks it did not have a targa top.
Being considered a classic this car is absolutely timeless. Still looks better than 90% of newer sports cars on the road especially if you upgrade the interior and lower it with some skirts. Doesn't take much modding to make that LS1 scream a little louder either, whether staying NA or going FI
