  • What do Apple, Oprah and winning political candidates have in common? More than you might think. Through 25 years spent working with some of the world’s most iconic brands, Leslie Zane has discovered that all extraordinary successes have one thing in common and it lies deep in people’s subconscious.
Leslie Zane is a brand strategist, speaker and author who has spent her career determining how to change people’s behavior to accelerate brand growth. Her endless curiosity led her to discover the hidden matrix where all instinctive choices are made. Zane and Wharton Professor Michael Platt call this matrix, the Brand Connectome®.
At Triggers® Growth Strategy, the company she founded 25 years ago, Zane has used her expertise in changing brand behavior to raise revenues for global brands and non-profits by more than 3 billion dollars. A speaker and author, her insights have been published by Wharton, MIT, Ad Age, Forbes, CMO.com, and more.
Leslie Zane is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Business School.
Leslie Zane is one of the world’s top experts in influencing the decisions people make, whether in business, politics, or social campaigns. Her discoveries and unique insights have been published by Wharton, MIT, Ad Age, Forbes, and more. Always challenging the status quo, Zane found early in her career that her ideas about marketing differed from the conventional wisdom and weren't always met with open arms. So she launched her own company, Triggers Growth Strategy, and turned it into a powerhouse, raising revenues for household name brands by more than $2 billion.
Zane has been named a Trendsetter by the Association of National Advertisers’ International division. A widely sought-after speaker, she has spoken at numerous events including ANA Conferences and The Girls Lounge at Advertising Week.
Zane is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Business School. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

This is so cool! You'd never expect the decisions we make are actually made in the subconscious. Really revolutionary stuff here

As usual, in her charismatic fashion, Leslie Zane offers profound insight into her emotional branding concepts, explaining the psychoemotional concept of "Brand Connectome" and how it influences our subconscious behavior; thus, can be used for marketing success. Love the tree metaphors- "sowing seeds" of ideas, "nurturing" & "branching out" with positive associations, builds a strong connectome, versus a "mere sapling".... Brilliant!

Great talk. The secret is understanding what makes a conscious attempt at change vs. a longer lasting subconscious change that is more ingrained.
