How wonderful that they worked their problems out helping others along the way and learned to stand on their own two feet, hopefully, without any further interference from parents! Really enjoyed the stories and the creative mind of the author in all four"Families of Dorset" series. Thank you.
This book was FABULOUS! My favorite of the whole series. I fell a little in love with Tobias myself, and Lady Anne was a joy. Both with hearts of gold. I didn't want it to end. Thank you both for another great book. Love to you both.💗
It's so interesting to me how triggering some stories are to me. Stories where women are misused make me so uncomfortable in my skin. At least in stories, the abuser gets their justice. I love the way you write, Martha.
Of all these awesome books this was the first narrator I needed to adjust tempo on! Only to discover others were enjoying it sped up too! 1.25 or 1.5 x speed greatly enjoyed!

Oh what an unlikely hero sweet Tobias turned out to be. All of this authors characters are so rich and complex. Another beautiful story.

I enjoyed all four stories but think this one was my favorite! Such kind, likeable characters, you end up wanting the best for them, and get it!

What an unusual story line. I wonder if there were any of the wealthy in that time period who helped facilitate a better life for women .
Yea...I believe 'as they were people too' they could not all be aweful , life needs balance. But I love these
