True. I watched robot wars back in the day and it takes a ton of work. Usually they spend a year making their robots with hundreds of spare parts from scratch. Crazy they did it in months

Vik's team actually played really good. The other team robot was prolly more powerful but they managed to destroy their blade by sacrifing their hammer and then their bot was stronger

As a massive robot combat nerd I'm a little annoyed that this didn't take off. Then again the sport is still unfortunately smaller than most things. and there known for there challenges and things so sadly this will probably be a one time thing

I love how the designers quietly sitting there knowing KSI’s teams robot works on both sides while helping Vikk’s team make a robot who’s entire strategy is flipping over KSI’s robot LMFAOO
They did go away from flipping them over which was pretty clear in the video. Cause they realised the flipping wouldn't work with the hammer so they changed it to a scoop and then hold their robot on it and then hit them with the hammer.. Cause in the end what their team wanted to do was smash it not just immobilise the other teams robot

That was the greatest thing ever, I loved every second of it, the planning and designing phase was really cool, both robots looked absolutely sick and did some proper damage to each other, Josh countering the eggblade with the hammer was so smart and satisfying to see and the underdog Tenderizer won which is always great to see although the Golden Daddy did have the worst drivers so there was a somewhat even playing field but man that was so fun I'd love to see the boys do another one

I would think so too, but Team Tenderizer had more of a skilled driver. The wedge was always on the attack, made sure to never show their submissive and breedable side.

Vikk really did saved them with scoop the idea of scoop angles or their robot would have been finished with only one blow from other team's robot. Also he sounded so passionate about designing the robot it felt so refreshing and cool. Also credit to big zerka for the perfect pilot

This is probably my new favorite Sidemen video now. I really hope they do a part 2 for this, and maybe do 4 robots and make a mini tournament for it.
As for the robots, they both look really good, and I knew the match was going to go 1 of 2 ways. Either Golden Daddy winning with pure destruction, or Tenderizer winning with control. It's a lot harder to control a 2 wheel robot than a 4 wheel one. Plus Tenderizer has a defensive wedge to not only deflect the blows from the disc, it also helps in a pushing match compared to a disabled disc. Spinners are some of the most successful designs out there, but once their weapon breaks, they're just sitting ducks afterwards. Hammers are cool, however most hammer bots do not do well in robot combat. Only Terrorhurtz and Beta had the most success with hammers, and they're both built by the same team. And sometimes the best defence is the best offence, which proved to be the case in this fight.
Imagine all 7 of the sidemen having their own one would be sick
