    A divorce destroys lives. The worst when children are involved. I am a therapist and just saw a child in absolute shambles as her father left them sisters and mother for another woman. She came in sobbing not wanting to come to school not interested in anything. In tears every time some talks about the fun they have with their family. How does a parent account for their personal interest and selfish motives when the lives of their children will never be the same. Who accounts for those tears and for that ordeal that children go through. Adultery beyond being a sin is a curse

      Of deceit was extremely disturbing. However, as a therapist you should know and understand that if you explain to children that it's not their fault and that their parents have the right to be happy it's crucial. Even though Dot may have not realized it was the best thing that ever happened to her, and that she deserves loyalty, respect and a better example of a man than their father is!

      Each time I see see this movie, left speechless by what Dot did, and the eventual outcome... Truly remarkable; she was so brave! Is it not better to shout the truth from the roof tops than to keep quiet about committed sin?

      "With God nothing is impossible." We simply don't even think to TRY anymore to bring 'the seducer' to book! Who wants their sex life, or lack thereof, aired in a courtroom never mind on national TV?! Gutsy lady, Dot! Love her saying, "I devoted my entire life to my family. Why stop now?"💕👍👍👍 Hat off, Dot! So many adulterers and seducers get off scot-free, wearing their SIN like badges of honour while the wronged spouse has to endure the shame of a 'failed marriage'.
      If that ever happened to me, I know I'll not go to court, because I have a deep-rooted faith in God to 'bear my cross' in my Saviour's footsteps, but man, I'd be mad as all hell!!!😊 God save us all!🛐✝️🙏💒😇

    I'm surprised the wife didnt even had the hunch or felt there's something wrong with the actions/ routines her husband did. Maybe there are people who dont feel doubts or judgemental towards other people.

    • @maricamaas2326
      @maricamaas2326 18 днів тому +6

      Ignorant and naive, and if there ever was a hunch, there's denial: Too painful to even go there in one's mind...
      Anyway, actions/routines divert slowly over time, and therefore are not as easily detected; unless one is suspicious by nature, and therefore spesifically on the look-out for signs. It's only in hindsight that one recognises all the tell-tale signs which should have been obvious.

      If this movie is 100% true, it looked as though the kids knew something was up when the wonderful husband left his own surprise birthday party, and the kids walked away mad from the table. I pictured Dot, saying something like, Oh it's ok your daddy works hard, blah, blah, blah, blah. Wow. Dot seemed like quite the enabler. Not excusing the office tramp nor the husband, but Dot lived in complete denial.

    Infidelity at the workplace is very common. Everyone knows who is screwing who and their partner sits at home without a clue. Partner should be told by those in the know, I'm so sorry I never spilt my guts, I'm as guilty as everyone else. Couple having an affair at the office, had a car accident in the early hours of the morning, so the wife and husband did eventually find out. Today, I wish I told the innocent partners.
