I truly appreciate how you mentioned that affordability is relative. I’ve been seeing loads of people saying Tory and coach are cheap, however I disagree because it really depends how much a person is willing to spend on a handbag and their currency conversion rate.
The designs are pretty but here’s what happened in my case.
I wanted a small bag that would fit my two phones and a wallet for dinners and special occasions. I loved the look of the Tory Burch Kira Chevron Chain Wallet in black. So I ordered it. Once it arrived, I realised it was too small. My folded wallet didn’t fit. Even without the wallet, my two phones barely entered. Once they did, it was hard for me to access the other pockets as the bag got really tight with just two phones in.
On top of that, the bag had some scratch marks. While investigating that, I noticed that even a gentle graze with my trimmed fingernails would also leave faint scratch marks.
The bag felt so delicate to the touch! I didn’t want to constantly worry about an object that’s supposed to carry the objects that I’m actually supposed to worry about, know what I mean?
The quilted part made some strange plastic-like sound when pressed. The hardware was stunning however. Leather was terrible. So thin, so frail. Not for the likes of me.
I returned the bag.

Appreciate this video. I haven't had issues with Tory on quality and service. I did have leagher bleeding, but that was my fault because i had hand sanitizer, but they did an exchange and were sweet about it (lesson learned). The pricing is great and it's a good starter brand.

I have the small Kira and I love it! It does remind me a lot of YSL. I wanted something for date nights or girls nights and since it wasn't going to be an everyday bag I went with Tory Burch since it was a lot cheaper than YSL. Some of their bags do remind me of other high end luxury brands and at first I was turned off by that but I think the more affordable price tag is a great alternative as opposed to buying knock offs of the more expensive brands. I have 3 LV bags that I love but I'm currently considering a Tory Burch tote to add to my collection.

I love her double T logo. Being my name is Tina I feel like it's my initial when I'm wearing her stuff, LOL. I much prefer her outlet items. That's where I buy all my Tory Burch handbags, etc. I don't care for the items from her website because I feel like they're too over the top. Especially with the HUGE double T on some of her handbags and some of the odd color combinations she uses.

i enjoy her more affordable alternatives to the higher end luxury brands. i have a purchased a few pieces. I know nylon isn't considered luxury but the Virginia Bucket bag is one of my faves. I just recently ordered the small ever ready tote. i am hoping that it will be a keeper.

I just received the nylon Ever ready zipped top tote in the Mediterranean blue. She is light weight. Very pretty. You will enjoy her. I prefer crossbody bags now but I saw a few reviews and it got my attention. 🩵💙

Sorry I'm commenting as I watch your video LOL. As far as quality goes I haven't used my Kira enough to have any signs of wear (I've probably used it 6 or 7 times since getting it in December) but in All the LV groups I'm in people are talking about the decline in their quality as well. It's so frustrating how these brands keep upping their prices and the quality just goes down.

I’ll choose TB over LV bags anytime… I was recently excited to purchase a LV bag but in person, I was disappointed because of the quality. Eventually, I ended up in TB and bought a bag from them.

Thank you for this review. I have been a Dooney and burke girl for years bc they are indestructible but I got bored with the brand then tried coach. The quality was so bad for coach I returned the bags immediately, then invested over $350 into a Kate Spade but it started falling apart before a year. Now I'm thinking about Tory Burch and I'm afraid to get scammed again by these companies. Who would you say is comparable to Dooney and Burke when it comes on to quality and price ?
From my experience - I own Tory, LV'S, Dooneys, Coach, Brahmin, Mk and Patricia Nash are kinda my obsessions. I've always told friends, if you're a one bag a year kind of person or want a bag that you can't wear out - hands down Dooney. And actually the next is Patricia Nash (leather ones). Those 2 brands I just don't think you can beat quality to price. I'm like you, Dooney just does the same style over and over. I have a few Torys. Honestly...I have had to return 2 - and I don't carry a bag but a few weeks, I get bored and sell on Posh. With that being said, for me to return a bag for quality it's literally starting to have issues in 2 weeks. All of this to say - I'm not sure Tory is worth the price tag. Unless you get a steal of a deal. Mk is definitely not good quality anymore. Coach - depends on the materials. Lv..the older ones I think are great. The new ones - poor quality.
Correct TB is not as durable as similar level of bags. I love their designs but I have some pieces from TB that the quality did not lasts. If it’s on sale yes the bag might be worth it… I would not get it for full price. TFS ❤

I have a Tory Burch Emerson small tote in leather and it's holding up very well! It has slim straps but I can carry a lot. Trust me when I say i have *tested* this bag to its limits 😂 very happy so far! It was an outlet purchase so unsure if it's still available

She does copy some of the designs of the more expensive brands but who cares. I much prefer Tory's outlet stuff to Coco Chanel. They're nicer at a fraction of the cost. Chanel products are outrageously expensive and you're simply paying for the name and the CC logo. Anybody that would pay 10k for a handbag needs a good flogging. LOL. And Hermes. OMG. They're ugly and their prices are pure lunacy. People need to get a grip on reality. Nobody needs to spend that type of money of a stupid purse. I'd much rather buy a Tory Burch or Kate Spade and use the rest to rescue helpless animals. I feel sorry for people who feel the need to waste that kind of money. They obviously have a screw loose

I think Tory's outlet items are great quality. I've got several handbags and wallets and they've held up so I don't know where you got this negative attitude. I believe some of her Kira products may be more fragile. The leather is softer and would be more prone to wear and tear. I've seen some videos on the Chanel bags on the decline of the quality. Quality going down, prices going up.

I don’t like the unoriginal designs. Watching this video, I could name several high end brands that the styles were taken from. Same with Coach. They have a complete rip-off of the LV Alma. Can’t these brands come up with their own look? 🤷🏼♀️
