I met Michael last year at the Homeless World Cup in Cardiff, he was super lovely and he rediates love, kindness, compassion and just a really top, top bloke.
There are some pretty great crossover fics around. It would be cool if they did anything, even if it were a three minute skit of them meeting each other. I can see Aziraphale and Sam bonding over books while Crowley bonds with Dean because cars. Sam and Dean confused because both angels and the demon talk about things no human will ever understand, haha.
I'm so freaking glad to be a part of both fandoms. Supernatural was the first show I really got into, and then I got REALLY into doctor who and that's what ultimately led me to Good Omens. Sheen was known to me, but as a "famous guy", I was not super familiar with him and his work but THIS MAN IS A WONDERFUL TREASURE. I love this campaign and if I could help, I totally would. BUY THEIR MERCH PEOPLE, it's a good cause.
This is so great because Supernatural was inspired/ influenced by the novel Good Omens, and I suspect Supernatural in turn inspired some of the aesthetic choices in the Serial adaptation of Good Omens. Such as the portrayal of heaven.

When i way seeing this in my Abo Box i was like "Yesss one of my two favourit Actors!" and then im reading the comments and then i was like "Oh no Michael is crying? Oh no no no i want to cuddle Michael right now and Misha too!"
This is an amazing example of two people not shying away from or feeling guilt for the privilege they have, and instead channeling it towards supporting others. Also I applaud Misha for acknowledging his own biases and discomfort, and actively challenging them. And what Michael said about the housing-first approach with wrap-around services is absolutely on the nail; I work in social policy here in Australia and these are exactly the kinds of talks we have when we talk regarding housing and homelessness. And I'm so glad that he highlighted the intersectionality between LGBTIQA+ issues and homelessness (and intersectionality in general). As with many social issues, one issue usually goes hand in hand with other issues, and in the case of honelessness, you can't offer only housing without also offering services to support their mental/physical/sexual/etc. health, improve social inclusion, respond to their diverse needs, etc. I have renewed respect and admiration for them as human beings not just actors, and I know they will continue to do good work not just publicly with people they don't personally know, but in helping their family members and friends to become the best people they can be.
This seriously made my week! And Misha, I came to this as a Good Omens fan and a fan of Michael's, who has had SO many tell me to watch SPN over the years. Shame on me for catching on at the very end, but, now knowing that it was very much inspired by the book, and seeing what a lovely human being you are, I have been inspired to finally check out SPN.
