@Queensryche2806 thats not the germans tv blame..i asked them why they took the studio vocals (and part of guitar). Their answer was that Shinedown wanted to sound like this. WDR (Rockpalast) only did what Shinedown wanted.
I'm not sure why Shinedown wanted to sound like this, but it had to of been for the video only. You look at videos of their current tour now, years ago, acoustic stuff, Brent hardly ever fakes a note. Not saying he hasn't, I know he uses vocal tracks/backing tracks. They do it for a reason of course. He's an amazing & true musician, yet still gets criticized. Just shows how high of a level people expect musicians to be nowadays, they will always let you down at some point if you think that way.
Zach's chorus are live, maybe that's a clue about the origin of the soundtrack but it's true that's strange the way the lips are moving and the clearness of the instrument's sound...

They did this show live but I think it was like recording session at the Music Hall and doing the show to make the videos...IF, that's the case, I bet they had to record the songs over and over until the director got the shots and video he like so he and the producers go to the editing room and cut half it on the floor/ so to speak/ it's all digital, yeah, but it's the same thing as when it was actual tape. Ya think?

people have to understand that a singer's voice can't be perfect everyday.just listen to various lives of a band.some sound good and sometimes better than the studio version while some sound way off.All i know is that Brent has real talent and AMAZING vocals though sometimes his voice gets tired and doesn't sound as good and maybe that's why they dubbed...

To all who have never heard Shinedown live.....DO IT NOW!!! Brents live vocals are top notch. Nowhere near what most bands sound like live!!
