I've been an investor in Nvidia for the past six years now because I strongly believe in the company and in the stock, but now I've been thinking of redistributing my portfolio of about $560k and buy other stocks. Maybe buy GE? or Tesla? The decision can be confusing sometimes.
Sounds like a positive outlook on things then. So do you think it's best for us who are not institutional investors to focus on index funds or individual stocks? I want to redistribute my 160k portfolio and I preferably want the asset class with the best ROI.
navigating market volatility can be challenging, it might be beneficial consulting with an advisor to provide personalized insights based on your specific situation and financial position

Biggest lesson i learnt in 2023 in the stock market is that nobody knows what is going to happen next, so practice some humility and low a strategy with a long term edge.
Nobody knows anything; You need to create your own process, manage risk, and stick to the plan, through thick or thin, While also continuously learning from mistakes and improving.
Uncertainty... it took me 5 years to stop trying to predict what bout to happen in market based on charts studying, cause you never know. not having a mentor cost me 5 years of pain I learn to go we’re the market is wanting to go and keep it simple with discipline.

The rising interest rate can surely control inflation, but won't prevent erosion of the eroding purchasing power of the US dollar. I have learnt my lesson this time. The banks can't be making money off my money, while inflation eats into it. I have set aside 650k to invest in the stock market now, since that keeps up with inflation, but I don't know how to get started.
Financial consultants can help by recommending investments that outpace inflation, such as real estate or certain stocks. A client of mine followed this strategy and saw their savings grow by 15_% in just two years, effectively countering inflation.
I usually go with registered representative; Zachery M Demers, He provides a more grounded approach, looking at factors like market demand, regulatory changes, and adoption trends. This approach enable to make informed decisions rather than solely relying on emotional market dynamics
I read that Nvidia provides tech for crypto mining services/blockchain transactions. Could the current crypto pump be attributed to Nvidia’s great earnings and should I hold some crypto as well, cos tbh I’m having FOMO with the current crypto price at 64k.
It’s going to be a wild year for these sectors, so you should def. invest in crypto. 60% of my portfolio is spread across tech stocks, crypto and Crypto/Gold ETFs
well the crypto market is expected to do way better than any other equity sectors this 2024 especially with the SEC crypto ETF approval but it’s a volatile market nevertheless and if you’re new to it, it’s best to reach out to an experienced adviser for proper guidance.

I agree. Just because there are opportunities doesn't mean we should dive in without caution. We should look for market analysis or guidance, or seek advice from certified market strategists.
AI stocks are set to dominate 2024. I prefer NVIDIA because they're well-positioned for long-term growth and support other AI companies. I know someone who made over 200% with NVIDIA. I'll also consider the other recommendations you made.
I agree. Just because there are opportunities doesn't mean we should dive in without caution. We should look for market analysis or guidance, or seek advice from certified market strategists.
Absolutely, having a solid plan is crucial. My portfolio has been well-balanced and recently doubled since early last year. My financial advisor and I are working towards a seven-figure goal, although this might take until Q3 2024.
With Trade sanctions here and there, high tariffs on imported goods from China, I am really scared for the future and the US economy. There seem to be a big danger looming and I don't feel prepared enough.
Yes Charlie, everyone is worried for the unknown especially with the US presidential elections coming and we don't have a clue which of the clowns will become President. so certainly your fear is valid. I really advice you start learning trade. There are a lot of tools out there such as demo accounts you can use or better still, you can take a bolder step by getting a financial adviser.
Yes, I've been in constant touch with a Financial Analyst for approximately 8 months. You know, these days it's really easy to buy into trending stocks, but the task is determining when to sell or keep. That's where my manager comes in, to help me with entry and exit points in the industries I'm engaged in. Can’t say I regret it, I’m 40% up in profits just in 5months with my initial capital of $160k.
Go ahead, I'm a book of secrets, but I draw the line at sharing personal info - even if it's ''Eleanor Bonnici Deskin's'' job to be in the spotlight! She's a public figure, so feel free to search her up. Just remember, I'm as closed-mouthed as a safe! 🔒
No worries there! I mean, I'm all about privacy, but I'm thinking ''Eleanor Bonnici Deskin'' won't mind if you check her out. I mean, it's her job and all, right? Go ahead, do some digging - she's practically a public persona!"}
This is what a lot of people don’t realize about Nvidia. They have only sold their currrent gen product, “Hopper” so far. What’s coming is a next-generation AI platform, Blackwell, that is going to be the most highly sought out product in semiconductors. They will sell every one they produce, and we don’t even know as a society yet what effect this technology will have on our lives. This isn’t going to just be a run of the mill upgrade, this will unlock a new era of AI and it will only be capable by purchasing as many of Nvidia’s Blackwell systems as companies can acquire. The people betting against this stock don’t seem to realize what we’re at the very beginning of right now. They have won a few days, but the long term story will be extremely positive for anyone who invests in and sticks with this company as this plays out over the next 3 or so years.
We all that NVDA has the right fundamentals in place even well before AI was born out to the industry, but am frankly concerned about the market's ability to truly price all this in. This really is annoying as there is always a huge disparity between the investors' perception about a rising star unbeatable stock such as NVDA and how the market evaluates/prices it in. They need to get to their senses and take it all in.
I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market Because 35% of my $470k portfolio comprises plummeting stocks that were once revered and I don't know where to go here out of devastation.
The best approach I feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown.
