Im surprised Loey didn't mention anything about how Dottie's eyes turn blue when she says ''To gain the power you knew you deserved'' (15:35) This could be important info on the lore. It also stands out to me how she always talks in a different pov when she says stuff like what i just mentioned, even though it sounds like she's talking about herself. Almost like a quote.
My silly brain immediately thought of it as an Amphibia reference lol
My theory I am forming is that “mother” and “dottie” are both Beeveekee. The one where we showed up early and Dottie had that face in the back of her head looked just like Mother. So maybe something pulled the character Beeveekee into the world, and took her essence or whatever to be Dottie. What is left over is Mother. That is why she is in hell. She is trapped in a room as this deformed thing without a face watching Dottie be her and make this show. (Of course besides the fact that the actual Beeveekee herself is making these and is doing the awesome makeup and all that lol). So Mother getting “chicken”, a face, is like the thing taunting her. The logistics of all this, I don’t know. But that is the theory in my head right now.

I personally don't think her eyes turn white when she is scared, but when she shows her true evil colors. It felt to me like evil man might actually have saved the animal that was coming for her. It looked like she was ready to fight, lol
I feel like the Q+A episode, episode 8, kind of supports this theory. Her eyes keep going mostly white when she says stuff like “-I’M- the host of this show”
“-enough- about tall man”
“-I’m your friend- okay?“

It doesn’t make sense for her to be scared as she’s almost threatening us. Unless it’s the fear of us liking someone more than her, but idk.

@@savannah8536And also in one of the episodes, maybe somewhere 1-4, Tall Man reaches his hand towards her and her eyes go white and she's like "Hee hee, you're so funny" and his hand is stopped. She basically used her...abilities to stop what he was about to do. So there's another piece of proof! And one more would be the latest episode, she says "Don't get too cozy...remember who your FAVORITE is" and her eyes go white. So yeah you're correct!
I'm pretty sure Dottie's eyes becomign "white" is to simulate a cartoon character's eyes becoming tiny when scared.
And the line sunder her eyes with her makeup is to make her eyes look larger. Like a cartoon.
At 12:25 the commenter "_zer0_rin_" capitalized a bunch of letters in the wrong spots. When you put them together it says
*"WHAT'S YOUR REAL NAME"*

Maybe the face on the back of Dotty is the "old" Dotty - the Dotty that pulled in Tall Man or Couch Guy, then pulled in beeveekee who became the new Dotty - so it's like a recycle rebirth thing
I feel like Dotty is just a "presenter" or a "messenger" I think she does a lot of the instructions of "mother" like they are being held hostage in this world by "mother" and are trying to get out this way, while still pleasing mother by providing her victims and playing along with the malicious activities
i haven’t finished the vid, but she hasn’t pointed out how dotty has a triangle above her right eye. a triangle that was flashed to what we assume is tall man before he was taken
I've been thinking about that too. According to a Google search a triangle is symbolic of perfectness, unity, and importance. Considering Dottie is being shown to have a bit of an ego it might make sense.

Something I've noticed throughout the show (I don't know if she mentioned this in the first video) is that there seems to be a lot with plants, in an early episode she grows a hand from a pot, in another an eyeball comes out of her mouth and she walks across the screen with a watering can, and in the newest we see Dottie planting another eyeball. Another thing is that when the man is taken Dottie is transitioned onto screen with triangles and the entire series she's had a triangle above her eyebrow. I don't know if these matter but maybe
Maybe she's growing new Dottie clones. I remember one where she had a "guest" that said they are caught in a continuous cycle of death and rebirth to satisfy the narcissistic desires of a demon.

I think that Mother is the one in control of everything, using beeveekee as a vessel and using everyone else as ‘side characters,’ possibly to live or relive a better life in a more able body
That's what I was wondering to an extent! Maybe Dottie is afraid of her and Mother is the real star of the show.
I think it’s then that’s she’s at her rawest when there is black and white in her eyes. It’s only then she shows what she really feels. The full white and black booth seem like scripted emotions (black = ultra happy, white = fully numb) and not as real as when her eyes are a mix of the two.
I think NYNKS is honestly a show about mental illness in some way, I think Dottie, Mother, and Beeveekee, are all different personalities. Dottie a lot of the time, seems rather... eccentric, she is quick to anger, and oftentimes sees things that maybe only she can see. I see Mother as that lunatic side most don't want to notice, they want to ignore, she's the built up anger from all the work and burden a lot of people have placed on them, or have put themselves under, and are quick to snap.
Tall Man, I think in most ways, is the caretaker. He takes care of Dottie's dirty work, keeps her (mostly) relaxed, and Dottie seems attached to him, (like a child would with what they see as a parental figure), I think Dottie genuinely is that child-like state of mind we all can revert to when put under enough pressure, mental stress, ect. (Which is why I think Tall Man in a way is the caretaker, he can in a way forcibly make Dottie come out.)
This theory is stupid, I know, but my brain thinks of the strangest ways to explain things, and I don't really study on NYNKS too much.

I really like your speculation on who (or what) exactly is the main driving force behind the chaos in this series. I'm quite fond of the idea that Dotty, The Tall Man and Mother are all victims of some other more nebulous malign force, transformed into these absurd and grotesque beings in order to continue victimizing others and drawing them into, well, whatever _this_ series is depicting.
the numbers to letters are “ 1 12 12 18 5 2 15 18 14 -> all reborn” pretty spooky but it makes sense considering some of the theories im reading about the being reborn stuff

This. Her pupils are usually a solid black and with her eyes going blue when she was talking about the key to happiness she's basically an anime character. Lol.
Also if you pause it right at a certain point when we see her mother, the little bit of the mothers face we do see is like a monster or demon 😮 like it’s freaky, just pause it. Love this series I also follow her on TikTok.

ok so update on the recent ep. with the backwards words, the first door in the video states: “he how spoke this way was reset, heed my warnings” and the last door states: “she says not to open the door for strangers but maybe one day the stranger can open the door for you, i am not the enemy”
I don’t think she is the first “Dottie”. I think someone uses the body of other actors. What if mother is really her and she body switches with the actors.

I think the demon inside her is the one that's saying, "I'm the host." At "I'm" her eyes go white, showing that "Dotty" is afraid while the demon is speaking through her.

I have a theory that there is two dotties
I think its beeveekee because the newest video the doll that plays her favorite song you can hear her say im trapped in a horrible twisted hell of a neverending labyrinth of death and rebirth ultimately narcissistic demon stream. As Dottie cuts the cord saying she is back i think this could be the key point on if she was taken by mother and then that means tall man is couch boy even though the videos are reversed and it seems to have him taken first it could be possible that the videos are not chronologically correct and she was taken by mother and made as the main character of the show and her way of asking for help is taking couch boy who becomes tall man and the reason why he is hardly ever around unless she really needs him is because hes trying to figure out how they can permanently leave the universe and get back to theirs safely.
This reminds me of Amanda the adventurer. Dottie being a sort of “Amanda” to her universe!
This series has always given me vibes of the I’m Poppy character but like in a scary font lol. I’m obsessed though.

I always wondered something about ARG's like this. at anypoint do the makers ever come out and say what people got right and wrong?
My theory is that "Mother" is the one who kidnapped dotty first, then tall man to be dotty's henchman. Because tall man sometimes shows up when dotty slips from her cheery character to shows emotion like fear.
I just think Dotty had to tell "Mother" where she was going and had to feed her show some kind of ownership "Mother" had over her. Maybe "Mother" kidnapped her, and other victims, to make out of them a perfect child but seems like only Dotty turned out to be somewhat a success.
Also I think the demon in the forest are afraid of tall man rather than he is the demon. Maybe because he is so tall 😂 but anyway, this is my two cent on the theory 😊
I also noticed it wasnt mentioned that dotty says "outsiders" so i have a feeling one of her "guests" might have escaped and is trying to warn us the watchers not to be manipulated into joining that world

I think it could be something else. Faking mental illnesses or actual syndromes like tourette's, has been a big issue on tiktok. I feel like this is someone who actually deals with schizophrenia or DID and they are pretty much showing what it would actually be like to not trust a part of yourself, "living in hell" bc it's a reality for them. Even the fact that trauma, resulting from the mother in the series is making these identities or "friends" and they don't know how to interact with people on the regular so every time "Dottie" interacts with someone, it's scary or nightmarish.
Omg I absolutely love the detail you pick up on and the conclusions you come up with! I have a whole new appreciation for the show because of you!

I do indeed agree that her eyes are the only way to express herself I think her white eyes aren’t just to show us danger but her rage and excitement as well. When she gets upset she uses the same eyes as well when she killed the spider. When her eyes flash to the blue I’m not sure what emotion she’s feeling but I’d say it’s somewhat like pride and then the red eyes are not her but actually the being she made a deal with.

Wait… Maybe couch guy is the broadcaster of kids shows or just a broadcaster and knows the truth about “Not your Normal Kids Show” and refuses to put the show on television, and when he is watching TV, he notices it playing, and doesn’t know why. Then, Dotty forces him to come closer to her, then takes him to torture him, maybe by taking or killing his friends or family, and makes him broadcast it, but Dotty doesn’t know he is putting secret messages while the show is playing. Just a thought.

My theory is she keeps having to grow new bodies from the original because hosting demon like influences breaks down the host over time.
The primary host would be "beeveekee" or "mother". She gave birth to Dottie by bringing her to reality through the show.
Tall man is another human under the influence of an outer being. It kind of has a lovcraftian vibes.
I think the Dottie entity feeds off of attention and being remembered. We are warned to stop watching because we are at risk of hosting as well as feeding the outerworldly entity.

What if the people "who believed in her" was BeeVeeKee. Like, she created Dottie and the idea of the show, and then Dottie became self-aware and wanted more attention than what BeeVeeKee was giving her or allowing her to have, and that's why she was taken?! And "Mother" could be BeeVeeKee's body, and the person leaving messages is BeeVeeKee and the couch guy, still somewhat mentally awareof whats going on still.

I have a theory that the person interfering with the show could be the one that made the show with Dottie. Dottie got power hungry and wanted more fame and made a deal with a demon. The demon got a hold on Dottie. And the other person wants to save the viewers from being taken.
