How the hell did he ride with a broken collarbone, I broke mine and my whole shoulder dropped and was flopping around, (Was total break, bone nearly sticking through my skin), needed lots of morphine to dull the pain, 2 years before I got full movement back. well done ,he deserves a beer.
Painful for sure, and not really able to isolate it, just breathing can hurt. Don't know how he was able to ride, especially that terrain!! I was surprised you two didn't exchange bikes, ... Actually surprised he was riding without upper protection, and that he didn't just bail out after the wipeout!

Sure does mate, He was definitely in a hell of a lot of pain. Luckily, he had some strong pain killers with him to get home.
