@A13JMC Very useful also for asking questions. Last year i was in France and once i asked in Colmar: Il y a un bus a Munster (Alsace)? Is there a bus to Munster? Response: Oui il y a un bus mais seulement pendant la nuit après 10 h. Yes there is a bus but only during the night after 10 pm.
@@A13JMC It depends. In the swiss french regions (i'm swiss german) like Lausanne, Genève etc. in english Geneva i personally did not hear it often. Same in Alsace.
@@A13JMC Yes can sometimes a bit tricky for example with the verb être. If i speak french mostly i use présent, passé composé and imparfait in phrases. Others terms like gérondif i use rarely or never.
J'adore en francais la lettre y. Comme on y va, y'a t'il.., j'y vais, honi soit qui mal y pense etc. 🙃
Very useful!

Basic phrases that people can pick up on are useful to learn a new language. Thank you Virginie!

How french people chop their words or phrases is notable. Americans do the same. How are you all doing, becomes, how y'all doing?

Is the sentence « Il y a quelqu’un à la porte » correct?
I believe so
Yes, your sentence is correct 😊

Conjuagating verbs is a bit more advanced, you could be getting over some people's heads, but learners need to eat their vegetables.
