    Why you have a "Greek city states" category and then put Athens, Epirus and Macedon apart? What is the point? Either have a Greek one or just put the states separately.

    • @georgios_5342
      @georgios_5342 11 днів тому +14

      There's too many of them, so he put the larger ones separately. Epirus and Macedonia were Greek, but not city-states. So they had larger populations. And Athens was the largest city state, boasting a large population (that was however mostly composed of slaves)

    How do you calculate the number of Germanic peoples for the time before they were mentioned? First written record of them was 98BC, you can't know if people in the area before that had the same cultural and/or genetic traits to fit the term.

    • @matthings4133
      @matthings4133 8 днів тому +1

      You can look at the evolution after and predict how it evolved before with projection. It is prediction, so an approximation of a large group of multiple cultures etc.

    Just Rus' or Rus'sian land. «Kievan Rus» is a modern term and there is no such state.
    You didn't add «Paris France» or «Berlin Germany» to the video, because it's absurd.

      Он из Википедии брал инфу, они же не знают, что это принципиально так для нас. А так, вообще, правильнее было бы показать сначала Новгород, а потом Киевскую Русь

    • @AlexanderSergeevRus
      @AlexanderSergeevRus 4 дні тому

      Оба комментария бессодержательны.
      1) Использование термина «Киевская Русь» более чем правомочно.
      «Парижской Францией», коль неймется, можете кликать средневековый королевский домен во Франции)) Смысл, кстати, будет во многом совпадать с тем, что часто в летописях собственно Русью и обозначалось.
      2) Новгород упоминать лишний раз не стоит с учётом того, что археология не доказала его существование на момент призвания варягов)) Скорее всего, на деле роль княжеского стола сыграло Рюриково Городище.

    Extremely well researched, including the confederation of ireland briefly is obscure but I thank you for it.
    I can guarantee you lowballed the population estimate on for Hibernia, Irish Kingdoms and the Irish Confederation; mainly the Irish Kingdoms which together had a population of around 2 million in the mid 10th century, equal to the island of britain for the only point in History
